(ii) Percentage of frequency = 10/10 X 100% = 100% (iii) Helianthus can be found in all areas of Padang Merdeka. The distribution of Helianthus in Padang Merdeka is consistent. (d) Variables Manipulated variable: Location of quadrate Responding variable: Coverage of quadrate Controlled variable: Size of quadrate Particulars to be determine How to implement the manipulated variable: Systematic sampling is chosen How to determine the responding variable: Make sure every area covered by Helianthus sp. in the quadrate in measured How to maintain the controlled variable: Make sure all the quadrate must be separated and measure at 1m X 1m

(e) More quadrate set up to cover more area in Padang Merdeka. (f) The percentage coverage of Helianthus sp. in Padang Merdeka is 40% and the percentage frequency is 100%. (g) This technique cannot be used to study the population of snail in Padang Merdeka. This is because snails move around and will not stay immobile in Padang Merdeka.
