We drive to Ancient Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached - teaching the word of God with respect to laws. We continue to Nemea an ancient site near the head of the valley of the River Elissos in the northeastern part of Peloponnese. Next to the new town of Nemea, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Corinth, the region was first noted for its winemaking by Homer who called it Ampelessa, "full of vines." Today, the appellation of Nemea is the most important red wine place of southern Greece and arguably of all of Greece. We will visit the state of the art winery facilities and we will learn everything for the production of Greek quality red wine. Furthermore we will continue to the underground cellars with more that 1000 French oak barriques. Finally we will taste a variety of the best wines of the domain. Afterwards we will drive back to your original pick up point.
