This Lion has the ephemeral spirit of an artist and the ambition of two Napoleon Bonapartes. It is just this mix of sensitivity and resolve that makes for the Leo/Goats uncanny ability, despite fuzzy appearances and general lunacy, to arrive smack in the middle of the spotlight. Leo/Goats are blessed with the one thing most Goat people lackcommon sense. Of course a Goat is a Goat and this one is not so exceptional as to escape the handicap native to all Goat subjects and often responsible for their undoing: lack of foresight. Goats often have little or no sense of consequence. The Goat lives for the moment, in this instant, at the very split second of now. Hence, should his aims become realities, he frequently simply stands there watching them slip by. Goats cant hang on to anything for long. Its almost as though they didnt want to. Leos brilliance will couple nicely with Goats hyperimaginative nature. These people have both the drive and the incisiveness necessary for all variety of artistic endeavor. Leo/Goats, however, hate criticism and usually pretend to ignore it by going right ahead and doing what they were criticized for. They dont hesitate to use others for their own aggrandizement and in this way can be called (once again) dependent. Their successes are often those of the character who is catapulted into a position of power or celebrity by virtue of someone else's diligence. It is the very malleability of the Goat and the Leos natural pizzazz that allow for this phenomenon. The Leo/Goat is definitely not your average hard-driving, workaholic drudge.

The Leo/Goat

The New Astrology

Goats are always hovering somewhere about three feet over their own heads watching the world go by. Leos, in another, more pompous way, do likewise. Leos sometimes puff up so much they can't see their shoes after a time. This makes for a heady combination, to say the least. You may find this subject lofty and even distant. Ring twice. And if he doesnt answer, lean on the bell. Opportunism is written all over this sign. The Goat is not often really with us. But when he is, hes sharp and aware of the slightest nuance. Leo dominates. Leo watches out. Leo protects. And when the Goat side of this Leo gives him the cue to pounce on a chance for advancement whoosh! Hes the king of the world. Unless, however, The Leo/Goat uses his head for something besides a hat rack, he may be a short-lived king indeed. Leo/Goats need to surrender their decision-making to wise men and women whose advice they should both seek and heed. Their unfortunate characteristic of forgetting about tomorrow will always undermine their strength unless they are carefully and intelligently made mindful of the dangers ahead. Leo/Goats are daredevils. They often strike out on their own when young and attempt to gain notoriety by shocking people who are more conservative than they. They are a little bit bombastic, too, and their enthusiasm for the sound of their own voices can rarely be quelled.

Love
If dependency there is (and dependency there will no doubt be), it shows up in the Leo/Goats love life. With Leo to push from behind, the Goat is more than able to conquer a loved one. But the Leo/Goats will to prevail will generally screech to a halt right there. Sort of Aha! Now Ive got you! Suddenly the gleam leaves the greedy eye and the Goat character falls into a swoon and sighs (subtly at first), Take care of me, you big brute. Leo/Goat may be able to provide the initial push, but subsequently the hero vanishes, to be replaced by a nonvenomous but nonetheless debilitating emotional parasite. Leo/Goats are damned attractive, however, so dont be surprised if you find yourself hitched to one. If so, dont panic. With the proper care and feeding, your Leo born a Goat can become anything you desire. Her imagination is vast and zany, his motives anything but self-interested. Leo/Goat is made of material out of which you can mold a great human being. But you have to do the fashioning. As the mate of a Leo/Goat, you are Dr. Frankenstein. Give your dreamy monster lots of roomand plenty of money. Hell take you places you never imagined existed.

Compatibilities
Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius and Capricorn/Pigs are your best bets for long-term mates. They know how to protect you discreetly so you can get on with your creative efforts. Libra, Sagittarius and Capricorn/Horses give you lots of courage too. Capricorn and Libra/Cats adore you, and the feeling is usually mutual. Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius/Oxen and Dogs are definitely not your types. Your eternal quest for living in the moment exasperates them.

Home and Family

This persons house may be situated in a place he or she did not grow up. The Leo/Goat, so easily carried away and so hasty in his youth, is frequently an expatriate or at least prefers to live where his family is not. Leo/Goats like to create their own individualistic environments. They are not comfortable living in fusty or traditional spaces. They like lots of room. They require security in the form of comfort and elegance and prefer to evolve in zen-like spaces devoid of clutter. Most Goats are skillful with their hands. They love to build and shape their surroundings themselves. Their tastes are strictly theirs, recognizable by their sheer originality. Leo/Goat parents are sincere and warmhearted with their offspring. Enjoying children is no hardship for the childlike soul of the Goat. And with Leo to add punch, this person will know how to reserve his indulgences for special occasions. The Leo/Goat child is a love and a half. Sunny and imaginative, proud and yet self-effacing. He or she needs exposure to all things artistic. Give your Leo/Goat a daily bath in beauty and drown him or her in secure-making billings and cooings. This exceptional kid is fun to have around.
