ANOINTING VERSUS CHARACTER. MATTHEWA.DANIEL. his is the second issue looking at the church of the living God especially from a perspective to improving what we do. Anointing Anointing refers to supernatural enablement on individuals in specific areas of ministry; some are anointed to operate in the ministry of miracles, signs and wonders, some in healing, some singing, some business, helps etc. All born again Christians are anointed to operate in one area of ministry or the other whether in the church or in the market place. We all have different measure and can increase as we apply ourselves in our gifting. God determines our gift but we determine the rate of growth.(Act 1:8,Luke 2:52,Rom 1:1,Gal 1:1). Character Character is the aggregate of features and traits that form the individual nature of some person or thing. (Dictionary). Character is who you are and can be attested to by people around you. Some people are difficult and some easier to get along with than others. Character is a product of our experiences and environment .The choices we make determine who we become.(Rom 5:3-5,1 Cor 15:33,Col 3:1-17). The Crossover Anointing and character are twins in the journey of life and they are inextricably linked. Your journey in life is supposed to increase your anointing and build Godly character. The anointing is a gift and so all that is required is to be diligent and consistent in the application what needs work is our character. Daily choices we make as we aspire towards being just like Jesus. This is what the world sees. Anointing applied the

right way develops Godly character. The Problem There are many Christians who have found a way to operate their anointing without working on their character. We now have healing ministers who tell lies, miracle working individuals who are cruel to those working for them, adulterous pastors, many Gods children without integrity and who cannot be trusted, church

Many are not Christians today because of the character they see. The Solution I believe that God is redemptive, if you are reading this then there is hope. You can make a change today.
