FALLING ACTION The falling action is the part of a story following the climax. This part shows the result of the climax, and its effects on the characters, setting, and proceeding events. RESOLUTION ( DENOUEMENT ) Denouement consists of series of events that follow the climax, and thus serves as the conclusion of the story. Example: I have strong opinions about Americans moving to Colombia to pursue any kind of business.
