Baptist Bible College & Seminary conferred degrees upon 189 graduates, from a one-year Bible Certificate to Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Commencement was held May 7 at the Phelps Student Center on

campus. President Jim Jeffery encouraged graduates, families and friends as the commencement speaker. His message, Learning that Transforms, was taken from Colossians 1:9-10. The morning event also included performances by the BBC Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. David Harris, and a presentation of the Presidents Award of Distinction, a special commendation given periodically to trustees or others who have served and supported the mission and goals of the college.The event is the 79th commencement ceremony in school history. Founded in 1932 in Johnson City, N.Y., the school moved to

Johnson College celebrated its 92nd Commencement May 15, at the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton. Lakeland High School Salutatorian Harrison Kyle Ingemarson is the son of Lori and Jason Ingemarson. The family resides in Scott Township. He plans to attend Five Towns College in Long Island, N.Y. Harrison was a member of the mock trial team, chorus club, marching band, jazz band and drama club.
