"Nation a.t Wart! prophecy

"You are a nation at war. I am at war , Those who f61iow me, tissoon as they are able, join in the struggle with me. As soon as they have come of age, as soon as they have been eQuipped and trained, they join with me in grappling with the enemy, to throw him down. "What use ;,isthere building an island of peaceful ease while all around you war rages. Either I will take your ease from you, and give you in exchange for it a place in the battle, and with it my everlasting favor; or the enemy will take you from your .ease and give you in return for'it punishment and terror. There is no other alternative. You are a nation at war, and the war will grow and draw you in, whether you wish to join or not. "You are a nation at war, and there is no escaping the 'battles which are to come. They will touch everyone of you. They wIll ~ngulf you whether you acknowledge my Word or hide from it. I have given you warning, and now I warn you again. The call to war has gone out and it is irrevocable. "Train your people for war and battle, for hardship and difficulty. Prepare them for what will inevitably overtake them in the days ahead. As soon as they are able to hear it, tell them of the days through which they will have to live. As soon as they are able to bear it, put them under a,burden of service. As soon as they have been trained for it, give them a place in combat. As soon as they can receive it, teach them that the;'"possessions are mine, and see that they are placed at my service. "You are a nation at war. Now I am holding back the arm of the enemy, who in fear and rage attempts to strike you. I want you to establish yourselves in certain positions; to forge bonds of loyalty, of mutual love and commi tment amongs t yourselves; to become organized, distiplined and trained in war. Then I will let go the arm of the enemy wh6will unleash his fury upon you, engulfing you in darkness and confusion and war. When' he has done his worst, and filled up the measure of evil assigned him, I will lead you against him. I will gather you in your smallness and lead you against him in his inestimable greatness, and you will strike .him and destroy him. "I want you ndw to learn war. I waht you tb activel:! ti-a:tnoUr y people in war. I want you to train all of them to pray, to ehter into war with their whole heart through prayer. .I want you to train some in combat. Decide upon some targets; choose some to go out and take it; appoint a leader for them; send them out to fight. "You are a nation at war. War is not far off; it is heze , Teach and act and train and live as if you are at war. You will not be approved for all that you do by your comrades. But if you miss the opportunity to learn war and prepare for it, you will not win it."
