Possessing most features of mid-range storage products The S2600 is highly cost-eective in that it provides most features of mid-range storage products, such as remote replication (HyperMirror), power failure protection, and disk pre-copy.

Energy-saving disks The industry-leading disk spin-down technology reduces power consumption in data backup and archiving by more than 40%. Energy-saving components The S2600 components are RoHS-compliant. Energy-saving power supplies AC and DC power supply modes are provided for various application scenarios. The DC power supply mode is more ecient and energy-saving.

Easy
Easy installation and operation The ISM storage management software supports the Java Web Start (JWS) technology for automatic installation and provides a configuration wizard to help users complete all configurations within five minutes. Easy maintenance Alarms in various forms are provided to alert users: SMS, email, sound, and light. The modules such as controllers, power supplies, and hard disks are hot-swappable, easy for parts replacement. Easy product and service acquisition Huawei Symantec global sales and service network provides customers with quick and high-quality service.

Economical
Plentiful host interfaces Up to eight host interfaces are provided to save investment in switches. SAS and SATA disk intermixing SAS and SATA disks can be flexibly configured in an S2600 enclosure, and data is saved to a SAS or SATA disk according to its importance and security level, thus maximizing space utilization and saving customer investment. Highly compact enclosure The enclosure is specially designed with a height less than 2U, easy for installation in the cabinet.

Enhanced
Enhanced data protection Rich value-added features such as HyperImage, HyperCopy, and HyperMirror ensure overall data integrity. Enhanced disk protection The backup technology combining disk snapshot with backup software achieves rapid and eective data backup. Bad sectors on disks can be detected and repaired automatically.
