raveling with oxygen can be a frustrating and daunting experience. Get Up and GO2 is a travel agency that specializes in cruises for people with chronic respiratory conditions. Our Sea Puffer group cruises are accompanied by Respiratory Therapists. Individual travelers call us to make all their personal vacation, oxygen and mobility arrangements. Once you book your travel with us, our Respiratory Therapists will contact you to discuss your medical needs and what equipment would best serve you. We encourage everyone to arrive the day before sailing on a Sea Puffer group cruise. We will meet you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and port, and assist you in the checkin process. When we return from our cruise, you will be sent safely on your way home! There are no extra charges for our medical arrangements. We are not able to provide personal assistance, unfortunately, such as pushing wheelchairs. If you require daily assistance, please ask a friend or family member to accompany you. They will also enjoy our group rates. Booking early allows staterooms to be arranged near each other. Handicapped accessible cabins are also available. Informal meetings are held during the trip to discuss the latest trends and issues in treating lung disease, with special sessions just for caregivers. Oxygen manufacturers frequently give us their latest equipment to try out. The bonds and friendships we make during our travels last a lifetime! Get Up and GO2 is able to offer travel protection insurance that covers pre-existing conditions to safeguard your vacation investment. Our goal is to take the worry out of travel for the person who has breathing difficulties.
