Visual aspects: Maps: in a large scale world map located in London, (as a matter of immediate reference) lines will

be traced between the continents, countries and cities that are being connected in the process of creation. (These lines will be transferred later into canvases in the way of abstract paintings). Sculptures: sculptures will be made out of the leftovers of the material goods (books medicines, houses, etc.) provided to the community. These exceeding materials can be displayed also as a three-dimensional documentation of the process. Video: will be used as documentation of the process. Photo: will be used as documentation of the process. Performance: during an undefined period of time, a given quantity of immediate need items (medicines, houses, books, etc) will be recollected. These material goods will be delivered to a given community in a country to be found in the so called Global South by a charity related group. A percentage of the totality (or leftovers) of the material goods will be collected, translated into sculptures or presented in their own documentation material state and shown in a traditional art space. The whole piece is a process-based one. Audio Radio: an interview will be held at the students union radio station of Goldsmiths College, which can be heard though their websitehttp://wired.gold.ac.uk/. This will serve as an introduction to the college and international audience. Radio as platform: after this introductory interview, I will proceed to use a limited amount of time on air weekly which could be used to communicate with coworkers, sponsors, etc. which are not necessarily in London as I am. Audio files will be uploaded to http://gesamkunstwerk.blogspot.com/ .

Internet: Freeexchange Blog: http://gesamkunstwerk.blogspot.com/ has been created as a platform to document, discuss and show updates about the status of the project. Text concerning the piece, audio from wired radio station and videos from the community will be displayed, among other things, in this multimedia space.

This piece is not conceived as a conventional work of art, which can be enclosed in just one of these manifestations: -International relational process (radio, internet, phone communication) -The material goods produced in, or brought to the community (houses, books, food, medicines, etc.) -The documentation shown in the gallery or museum Otherwise, the project may be understood at its best, when seen as the sum of all of its parts (relational and/or representational ones). That is the I am stepping outside, and going back into the representational art process. Extending the international situationists "detournement" strategies in order to permeate my work into already existing social, economical, and technological structures (just to name a few) creating new channels of global exchange, in the process of creating my art.

With this piece Im proposing a material and symbolic Quid pro quo exchange, detourning the already established structure of the charity institution. In the process of creating a piece of art I seek new possibilities for a mutual aid based art practice. Within the reciprocal altruist struggle, I manage to create a piece of art. In this process, non-tangible gift economy networks occur, connecting art and life.
