Ng mihi o te w kia koe me te whnau. We are all enjoying the magnificent sunshine today after the somewhat cooler holiday period. I hope that you and your family had a wonderful break and caught up on some well deserved rest. This week sees the beginning of Open Night season for Year 8 students. Schools have the opportunity to show their communities the wide range of curriculum, sporting and academic activities that are undertaken each day. We believe we have a unique situation at our school where our Year 7 & 8 children are encouraged and developed as School Leaders. Due to our size and nature, students have the opportunity to have real individual attention and represent the school in both cultural and sporting activities. They may not be able to do this in a larger school where spaces in these teams are keenly contested by a large number of students. The children are warmly received at High School at Year 9 as confident and well rounded students. We are happy to show you around our Senior School area and show you the Specialist subjects on offer such as Japanese, Food, Fabrics and Hard Materials Technologies, Youth Leadership etc. Just ring theSchoolOffice, 217-5196, for an School appointment to do this. Regards

SCHOOL DATABASE
It would be appreciated if you could please notify the School Office of any change of contact details for your child eg. New cellphone number, address, landline, work details, emergency contacts etc.
SCHOOL DRIVEWAY
We have had a very pleasing number of enrolments during the first part of the year. As a result of this, we will be shifting some students to keep our class numbers down to ensure smaller class sizes and quality teaching and learning. Mrs Maher will be contacting the parents of those students affected over the next few days. Mr Graham will be starting a new senior class.
TERM 3 CLASSES
Please DO NOT come up the school driveway to drop off your child as we have a number of vehicles who need to have access such as Taxis with Special Needs students. Too much traffic causes a danger to our students.
(Please hand into the School Office) I will be attending Workshop 1 Years 0-3 I will be attending Workshop 2 Years 4-6 NAME SCHOOL .
