Results Of Pre-Test in Math III

Introduction This project Result of Pre-test in Math III, the project aims to achieve the equivalent by using the simple frequency distribution which is a systematic process of organizing data by arranging by its item from highest to lowest or vice versa with the corresponding name of the item,

and its respective tally. It helps us to enhance our understanding of analyzing datas improve our skills in getting the Mean, Median, and Mode by using the formulas, and by this, we can be interested in knowing relationships among this three measures, or we will know which of these measure are appropriate or more applicable in particular situations so that meaningful results can be drawn from them. Mean is the average of the score and most widely used measure of Central Tendency. Median as the counting average that divides a set of scores into equal halves. And lastly the Mode that is determine by the score with the highest frequency, but the least reliable. On this project we must compare the scores of the five sections by graphing them. Analysis This project contains the scores of five sections of third year students who took the Pre-test in Geometry. In here, we can determine if they have a stocked knowledge about Geometry Subject which they were going to tackle this year. On the datas each sections is compared to what are the results and the average or central tendencies of the test. On the comparison of which section got the good scores that most of the students pass the test. It is the section of ( lagyan) and the lowest is the (lagyan). The collection of data has been Conclusion Working as a group can be a happy and worthwhile experience. If each member knows and performs his/her work well. The group would have different tasks assigned in each of them and they gave their effort for the success of this project. In this project, we learned a lot. Our physically, emotionally, mentally and social behavior are improved and developed, by the collection, organization, analysis and interpretation of these things as Data. Im so glad to share the story of the efforts of my colleagues. When they are collecting datas it is complicated but still they have done it. Moreover, our determination to finish and make it the best project becomes a significant to our hearts. I can also say that our knowledge in Measuring the Central Tendency enhance more and it makes clearer and easier to us now. Our strength is our unity. And this harmonious relationship starts with our cooperation that is considered as unity. The unity of people is their basis on how they cooperate and help each other. Acknowledgement

A wonderful feeling is what we have felt after finishing our project. We cannot finish these without the help of other people and I would to acknowledge them for their help. Our group would like to express our very great appreciation to Mr. Edwin Luna. His willingness had helped us on finishing our task in a fast way. You have considered our favor borrowing the results of the Pre-Test in Mathematics III. We thank You Mr. Luna for your time and trust you have given us. As the leader of the group, I would like to thank my members for being cooperative, particularly to the task that I have given them. The group of those who gathered the datas, compute the frequency distribution, central tendencies and the variability. I also thank my members that they have given time and effort to our project, the people behind the encoding of the datas in the computer, and those who designed our output. It became easier for me to manage it on the time that our teacher allotted us. To our cooperation, we finished the project with our best efforts. And lastly, we would like to thank our teacher, Mr. Buen for his considerations and his willingness to give us what would make the project easier.

Analysis
This project contains the scores of five sections of all third year students who took the pre-test in Geometry. In here we can determine if they have stocked knowledge about about Geometry subject which they were going to tackle this year. See the comparison of five sections. Section Highest Highest Number Number Score Frequenc of of y Students Students Got the Scores Diamond 24 15 10 50 Garnet Sapphire Sardius Jade 29 27 19 20 11 14 13 14 10 13 13 9 67 70 66 65

As you can see the frequency which got by two sections and the most score that third year students from section Sapphire and Jade. Garnet > Sapphire > Diamond > Jade > Jasper Section Garnet is highest among 4 sections, while the section Jasper is lower than 4 sections and Section Diamond is in the middle. But an test over 50 items, they need to study more this subject

Based on the solution for mean the highest is Diamond with 15.52 and the lowest is jasper with 12.7272. In median the highest is Diamond with 15.60 Lower Boundary and 15.60 in Upper Boundary, the lowest is Jasper with Lower Boundary of 12.678 and Upper boundary of 12.678 and Last mode in the Highest is Diamond with 15.85 and Jasper is the lowest mode with 12.653. Section Jade and Sardius are in the middle.
