WATEPROOFING OF MOST COMMON LEAKS seen ALL OVER THE WORLD

Seepage from floors and Lintels [Chajjas] Tackle it by SEALING OFF FLOOR from the INSIDE and by waterproofing the LINTEL [Chajja] preferably repair the LINTEL PROCESS A: Floor Tile Grouting with 1 part N.C. LACQUER + 1 part N.C. THINNER e.g. of

N.C. LACQUER IN INDIA OR . Dry the tile grouts and DEGREASE TILE GROUTS with N.C. Thinner 2 times with a cloth dipped in N.C. Thinner. Take a Thin FLAT Brush and paint ONLY TILE GROUTS with [1 part N.C. Lacquer & N.C. Thinner] 2 times. WAIT FOR ATLEAST 30 mins. Between 2 coats. LET SEALED TILES DRY FOR ATLEAST 3 4 hrs. before USE of the given area. PROCESS B: FOR THE INSIDE WALL: [Scrape and remove all Loose Paint, Flaky Plaster, etc., use a 80 no. Polish Paper to smoothen the surface] then Use Birla or JK Cement Based Wall Putty + UBOND APC {contact us 09820152385} mix well to a PUTTY CONSISTENCY and apply on CLEANED WALL [Coating should be atleast 3 4 mm thick] with a PALTI PATRA just as it is done usually. Let it dry out completely, and apply Primer, Paint, etc. in the normal process. PROCESS C: FOR WATERPROOFING THE OUTSIDE WALL AND LINTEL [Chajja] SURFACE PREPARATION: 1. All paint, loose plaster, etc. will be broken down and cleaned out. 2. Cleaning and Surface Preparation: All exposed surface areas shall be cleaned with CLEAN WATER, wire brush, water paper, etc. to remove all traces of moss, fungus, laitance, mold, oils, greases, etc. 3. V Groove Crack Opening and Filling: After drying the above areas, all surfaces will be examined for cracks > 0.5 mm and the same will be opened by V grooving. The said cracks will be cleaned of all dust and debris. 4. Pre wet all areas to be repaired with water to make surface damp [NOT WET].

Fibre MIX WELL [Recron Fibre available in Civil Repair Product Shops @ Rs.30/- to 35/ - per 120 gms] + Add: 4 lits UBOND APC Nano Acrylic Water Based Polymer System + 4 6 lits water to make thick slurry paste and apply with brush ON ALL AREAS to be repaired evenly. [Coverage approx. 55 60 sq.ft. in 1 coat] 6. Wait for 4 6 hrs. or next day.

7. Dampen the repaired areas with clean water and APPLY SIMILAR COAT AS PREPARED ABOVE. 8. V GROOVE CRACK FILLING: Take 4 kgs Cement + 10 gms P.P. Fibre Mix Well and add 2 lits UBOND APC + WATER TO make a THICK PUTTY. Apply on V grooved cracks and level off to smooth finish. 9. APPLY 2 coats od UBOND APC diluted 1: 1 with water after the above coats have dried. INTERVAL of atleast 6 hrs. between the two CLEAR COATS of UBOND APC.

Seepage from Bathroom or Kitchen Sink Tackle it by SEALING OFF FLOOR TILE GROUTING from the INSIDE [see PROCESS A] REPAIR & WATERPROOF WALL ABOVE [see PROCESS B] ALSO, WATER PROOF TILE AND SINK EDGE GROUTING in KITCHEN or BATHROOM [see PROCESS A]

For Repairing Nahani Trap i.e. DRAIN OUT Clean out the Nahani Trap from inside with NIRMA POWDER & WATER to remove all fats, oils, grease, etc. Degrease 2 times with N.C. Thinner by applying N.C. Thinner on a cloth and cleaning and degreasing. Take 1 part N.C. Lacquer + 1 part N.C. Thinner, Mix and add any POWDER [e.g. P.O.P., Whiting, Cement, etc.] to make to a paste consistency and apply on the inside of the Nahani Trap [CAUTION: Plug the drain with crumpled NEWSPAPER before doing this, take out the paper after 3 4 hrs. before use] Let it dry for atleast 3 4 hrs. before use.

EFFLORESCENCE ON WALLS

Take Normal Bathroom Acid [Hydrochloric Acid] dilute with 4 parts water [Caution: Add Acid to Water, Not Water to Acid]. Scrub areas clean with acid water, let dry and rinse with soap & water and let it dry.
