www.dhi-online.org.uk Floating Support Service
Our Floating Support service provides a combination of practical and emotional support. The support is provided with the aim of improving life skills so that clients are able to live independently and can include basic advice on housing, benefits and drugs and alcohol as well as signposting and referring to specialist agencies

Access Scheme
DHI run an Access Scheme, which helps people to move into private rented accomodation by lending them money for rent in advance. The Floating Support Service assists people to apply for the loan, and supports people accepted by the scheme to move in to their property.

Accessing our Services

We have tried to make the service open and accessible to all. If you feel you may have difficulty accessing the service (e.g. disability, language, or child care) please contact us directly so we can look at what things we can put in place to allow you to take up the service. We have access to translation services and will endeavour to produce documents in other formats on request.

Supported Housing
DHI run 2 supported housing projects in the centre of Bath. These shared dry houses provide a safe and supportive environment for clients whose lives have been disrupted through problematic substance use who are now committed to an abstinent lifestyle. Residents have their own rooms with shared facilities.
