Features
The box has three indicating LED which show when the fan is running, if a fan failure has occurred and if a fan service is required. In addition an audible alarm sounds in the event of a fan failure. The audible alarm can be switched off inside the enclosure. It is envisaged that the indicator box would be installed in a maintenance area where it would be connected to the IFan Intelligent Control Unit. Inter connecting cables are all Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV). Access to the box mounting holes and connection terminals are made possible by removing the box lid. The Indicator Box is connected to 230 V power supply using the terminals marked inside the box. The Indictor Box should also be connected to the IFan Intelligent Control Unit (ICU) using 6 core cable. Compression glands are provided for sealing the cable entries to the box. The terminals marked RUN should be connected to those marked FAN RUN in the ICU. The terminals marked FAULT should be connected to those marked FAN FLT in the ICU. The

The cleaning switch only opens the damper that it is connected to, i.e., no signal to open is sent from the master damper to the slave damper. The IRIS-M damper is selected to be suitable for operation with iFan system via the PIR switch.

to be controlled with the PIR switch. For this purpose there is an internal resistor installed between terminals 6 & 7. Should IRIS-M be used with other controls such as 3 position manual switch or 0-10V or 4-20mA control signals, the resistor must be removed and the IRISM-M technical instructions must be followed. Due to the mechanical durability of the IRIS-M damper, it can be used in systems where the flow rate is changed once every hour. For iFan applications the jumper marked number 7 should be in place. Jumpers 6 and 8 should be left open.

Installation
The damper is delivered with detailed instructions for installation. IRIS-M is delivered ready assembled. Access to the potentiometers for damper position settings, to the opening switch and to the terminal blocks is gained by removing the plastic window of the motor casing. The method of air flow measurement and the required safety distances are the same as with standard iris dampers.

Operation
IRIS-M dampers are designed to be used alone or in

damper is closed (0%), the signal is 4 mA, and the slave damper closes (0%). When the master damper is open (100%), the signal is 20 mA, and the slave damper opens (100%). In intermediate positions the signal and the corresponding slave damper position follow the master damper position linearly. The cleaning switch only opens the damper that it is connected to, i.e., no signal to open is sent from the master damper to the slave damper. The iFan iris damper is designed to perform up to three open and close cycles in one hour. This correspondes to a ventilation run on time of 20 mins.

The IRIS-M motor casing contains two potentiometers for stepless adjustment of the min. and max. position of the damper (the smallest and largest opening to be formed by the damper blades). The motor casing also encloses a cleaning switch to force the damper fully open for cleaning the duct. In iFan applications IRIS-M is intended

To make sure that the right balance between supply and exhaust air remains, the master damper can be connected in a cascade with a slave damper imitating the movements of the master damper. The min. and max. positions of the two dampers can be different. The slave damper receives signals from the master damper as follows; When the master

V entilation duct

Features
The valve operates on 24VAC.

Construction
The iFK-MH comprises exhaust valve, control motor, and controller card, which are installed in the valve cone. The Valve cone is manufactured from steel sheet, stove enameled in white. The valve body is fitted with a cellular plastic sealing gasket. The mounting frame is manufactured from pre galvanized sheet steel A rubber gasket is inserted into the frame to maintain an air tight seal The valve is supplied with a 1m extension cable.

Operation
The valve opens after it receives an on command from a switch or sensor, and it closes after it loses this command. iFK-MH closed position can be set steplessly when balancing the system. The forced exhaust can be set from the valve controller card at 5,10,15,20 mm (factory pre set is 10 mm) Forced exhaust can be obtained based on two principles.

Installation Guide iFan Speed adjuster
IFFSA
The Fan speed adjuster is selected for operation with the iFan system. The device enables the user to override the other system sensors and switches and manually operate the system . are given in the Operation Manual for the iFan Intelligent Control Unit.

Maintenance
The unit does not require any regular maintenance. Any accumulated dust should however be removed.

Features
All sensors and switches are SELV (safety extra low voltage) operation on a maximum of 24V. The device is suitable for wall mounting and is supplied with a factory connected 10m lead which is terminated with a plug and has a 20 mm flexible gland, in order to seal cable entry to iFan ICU. The leads are connected to the iFan ICU via a simple plug and socket arrangement to simplify installation and eliminate the need for specialised tools. Extension leads of 10 and 20 metres are available. The maximum cable run from a device is 50 m.

Installation
The Fan Speed Adjuster is secured to the wall using suitable wall plugs and screws. Removing the front cover gives access to the securing screw holes. The cable is then routed to the iFan ICU. Note any holes through which the cable has to pass, should be large enough for the plug and flexible gland. The SELV cable should not be run in the same conduit as the mains cables, and should be separated from the mains cables by at least 50mm.

Installation Guide iFan Pressure Sensor
iFDPT
The pressure sensor is selected to be suitable for operation with iFan. The pressure measured by the sensor is used by the iFan system to control the fan speed and maintain a constant value. The pressure setpoint is set in the iFan Intelligent Controller. of 0-50 Pa, 0-125 Pa, 0-250 Pa, 0500 Pa, 0-1000 Pa, 0-1500 Pa, 02000 Pa and 0-2500 Pa. A pressure selection should be chosen which best encompasses the pressure range over which the fan operates, whilst avoiding unnecessarily large ranges as this may affect accuracy. The pressure being measured may be seen on the iFan ICU display by looking at parameter SEb. The value displayed ranges from 0 to 100%, where 100 corresponds to the maximum pressure selected inside the sensor. From this it is possible to calculate pressures by scaling. For example, if the range 0-250 Pa is selected and the SEb value is 68%, the pressure being measured is 170 Pa. The pressure set point value PSP is entered in a similar manner, again where a value of 100% is equal to the set range value and intermediate values scaled between.

Features
All sensors and switches are SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) operating on a maximum 24V The device is suitable for wall mounting and is supplied with a factory connected 10 metre lead which is terminated with a plug. A 20 mm flexible gland is fitted to seal the cable entry to the iFan ICU. The lead is plugged into the ICU in the socket marked 0-10V. No tools are required. Extension cables are available in 10m and 20m lengths. Maximum recommended cable run is 50m.

Installation
It is recommended that the pressure sensor is located close to the fan unit, with the pressure connection pipes pointing downwards. The sensor should be secured using suitable wall plugs and screws and the cable routed to the iFan ICU. Note that any holes through which the cable has to pass should be large enough for the plug and flexible gland. The SELV cable should not be run in the same conduit as mains cables and be separated from mains cables by at least 50 mm. The pressure sensor should not be mounted where the temperature falls below 10C or exceeds +70C. For negative pressure measurement the plastic tubing provided should be connected to the connection, for positive to the + connection. The connection on the sensor not joined to the fan should have a short length of tubing connected to and the end located away from external air velocities, pressures and sources of dust etc.

Maintenance
The pressure sensor does not require any regular maintenance.
