Welcome Note by Mr. Soe Han and Mr. Hteik Tin Shein It was addressed by both to all that this meeting is held with conjunction of ex-AGTI graduate meet up at East Coast Park organised in July 2011. Majority of ex-AGTI classmates had suggested for forming of Committee with those who are currently residing in Singapore. The ultimate aims to form a Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Society and with this intention, the personnel here were invited to attend the today meeting.

All attendees were informed that the meeting was held with the following purpose: Assist in organising Nobility Event for ex-AGTI Teachers in Myanmar; Assist in organising collection of donation for above mentioned event; and Broaden the network among Singapore ex-AGTI Graduates; 4 Suggestion from Attendees The followings were suggested by attendees during the meeting: Form a Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Committee; Form and establish a Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Society; Attain an approval from the Registry of Societies (ROS) which under Ministry of Home Affairs which is to ensure that formation of Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Society is complied with Societies Act and Regulations; Create a delegated domain for AGTI website for better publicity; Suggested to name the Society: Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Society Ex-AGTI Student Singapore AGTI Society Singapore 5 Considerations made by other with regards to all suggestions All suggestions are well noted by others. However, all attendees shall take into consideration for those foreseeable and unforeseeable hassles which likely to hider the intended work. Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Committee Numbers of members to be elected or appointed in Committee; Formation of Committee (preferably at least one committee member shall represent from each Institute); Limitation or restriction of number of members in Committee (whether shall consider to name as Management Committee or Executive Committee; Member registration requirement (whether the rest of ex-AGTI Graduates shall be considered as ordinary members); Singapore Ex-AGTI Graduate Society Understanding on interpretation of Societies Act and Regulations; Understanding on application requirement from Registry of Societies (ROS); Full filling obligation gazetted by the Singapore Myanmar Embassy for submission of ROS; Other requirements which shall be fully adhere by Society from time to time; Delegated domain for AGTI website Volunteer to create website; Whether shall further develop on current domain used by classmate; For time being, Using Facebook to enhance the networking among classmate; 6 Working Group and Sub-Committee It was suggested by attendees that there shall be Working Group or SubCommittee under administration of Management Committee or Executive Committee to execute those activities All to note

The next news and public relation committee meeting will be tentatively th scheduled to be held on 13 August 2011. The details of meeting and agenda will be notified to all members in due course. 9 Any Other Matters a. With dedication and efforts by some ex-AGTI graduates, the AGTI Society website had already been created and its address is www.agtisociety.ning.com. However, all attendees were informed that the website shall be further developed for public browsing and it will be accessible to all in due course. who contributed for creating AGTI Society website.) b. Mr. Hteik Tin Shein was requested to prepare an inscription of Societys background which to be posted in web site. All attendees were informed that the monthly subscription fee for hoisting of web site will be US$60/- and however if subscript annually, the fee incurs at US$600 which could have saving of 120.
