Part Two: Ways of Knowing How important are the different Ways of Knowing in the different domains? Rate them from 1 to 10 according to importance, with 10 as VERY IMPORTANT. If there are other ways of knowing/judging, use the last column and specify. Domains Natural Science Social Science Art Morality Religion Sense Perception 8 7 10 2 2 Reason 8 8 4 9 9 Language 8 7 8 8 8 Emotion 5 6 8 9 9 Others?

Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. Domains Natural Science % AUTHORITY 25% % EVIDENCE 75% 100% Brief Reason + Remarks
I put a heaving bearing on evidence rather than authority because natural sciences is pretty much an absolute truth or is mostly true in some cases and does not require much external authority to justify our claims. I gave equal weights on authority and evidence because I believe that there is somewhat an authority gure in this domain, but we also have to look at the evidences of these academic research to give justication to our claims. I placed a heavier percentage in the evidence part rather than authority because I am sure there are people who will be authority and people will regard art highly, but more importantly is the evidence of the beauty of the art form like the brush strokes, style, etc. I also consider this domain as very subjective and does not have concrete evidences such as the other domains. Therefore, we have to rely on external authority. I believe that there is not much evidence when it comes to religion that is why we have to believe what we cant see and rely on external authority

Some learnings, comments, connections... I learned that each and every domain is unique with respect on relying on to authority and evidence as justifying our claims to gain and understand knowledge. There is also a difference with respect to the different ways of knowing used in the 5 domains discussed. I can also relate that the way of knowing of sense perception is directly related to the evidence that without evidence; there is a less need of none at all for sense perception.
