DECLARATION

I do hereby declare that the work reported in this project report/thesis was exclusively carried out by me under the supervision of YOUR SUPERVISORS NAME HERE. It describes the results of my own independent research except where due reference has been made in the text. No part of this project report/thesis has been submitted earlier or concurrently for the same or any other degree.

Your name with initials Your address

In this section you have to describe the problem you addressed, how you solved it, what are the important features of your solution and what you can claim from the test results.

Acknowledgments
The candidate shall declare in the thesis the extent to which assistance has been obtained from others in the collection of material, design and construction of apparatus, performance of experiments, preparation of the thesis, financial support etc.

CHAPTER 1 Introduction
1.1 Overview You must write an overview of your project here. and road map to the report. Once a reader read this chapter he/she should be able to understand the problem you addressed, why it is important to address that problem and how you plan to solve the problem and what else included in the remaining chapters. 1.2 Problem Statement Write down the problem description and its importance 1.3 Proposed Solution Give a brief explanation of the proposed solution 1.4 Report Outline Explain what you present in each chapter.

CHAPTER 2 Literature review/ Requirement Analysis

If you are carrying out a research project, you have to summarize related work done by other researchers. You have to describe advantages and disadvantages of each such work. Finally those work need to be critically analyzed. If you are developing a system, you have to summarize similar systems available, their advantages and disadvantages. In addition to that you have to analyze the system requirements and document them. You could specify functional and non-functional requirements, DFDs, Flowcharts, Use-case diagrams and so forth. In this chapter and the previous chapter you may describe many ideas proposed by others. Then such things must be cited. For example, if you use any idea taken from a book, you may write Peter et al. (1864) reported that it is impossible to make a professor understand the basics of singing [1]. Here number 1 within [] represent the reference entry number.

CHAPTER 3 Methodology
In this section you must clearly describe how you solved the problem stated in the introduction. If it is a research project, you could describe algorithms used, reason for selecting those algorithms and how you used them to address the problem. For a development project, you have to describe database design (ERD & Relational model), system development etc. in detail. If you use figures/ tables, they must be captioned and cited. Eg. Table 2.1 shows the results obtained by comparing the proposed system against the system xxx.

Table 2.1 Comparison between the proposed system and system xxxx

CHAPTER 4 Results and Discussion

Once you complete the project you have to validate it. In this chapter you must explain how you validate your solution. In case of a research project, you may carry out several tests and obtain results, and prove that it verifies the expected performance. Finally those results are compared with results of already existing methods. In case of development project, you must test the developed system with test cases and report the results. Finally you have to discuss the obtained results by indicating advantages and disadvantages.

CHAPTER 5 Conclusions and Recommendations

5.1 Conclusions This is a summary of the chapter 5 and a short chapter. What you have to write here is whether you achieved your objectives or not. Simply you have to write your findings here. As a general rule, this must tally with the objectives stated at the beginning. 5.2 Recommendations Any suggestions to improve the work must be reported here.

This is where you include resources you used for the project. This is not a chapter. Whatever resources you included here must be cited in the main text. Note1: Every figure/ table must also be cited in the main text. In doing so, figure / table must appear after the text. <We will give a sample as I have suggested> Note2: Chapter 1 and 2 may contain information taken from other resources such as books, research papers, web cites and so forth.
