Insights Prayer Part II The process of the Law of Attraction is the same as the process for Prayer.
People will often say my prayers go unanswered. Looking unflinchingly into the mirror of ones soul can help find the answers to why prayers may feel to be unanswered. To truly achieve that glowing spirit of Light there are nine hindrances that need to be changed into nine positive attributes that need to be recognized and addressed. The first such hindrance is INDIFFERENCE. Indifference in the heart towards that which has eternal value must be changed into Spiritual Attraction. This is the love for all Gods creatures as well as love for all things with eternal worth. Indifference breeds deterioration. Silence and inactivity is the cause of retrogression. Thoughtlessness leads to forgetfulness. Passivity produces oblivion. Indifference needs to be changed into PASSION. DOUBT is also a great obstacle. This is the state of mind in which we either willfully reject the Truth or remain in a state of disbelief or hesitancy. This lack of conviction allows us to linger in our hesitancy and there is no forward movement. We see in the material world the block that Doubt can set up in our attempt to achieve. In the Spiritual world this Doubt can be even more of a hindrance. Doubt must be changed into FAITH. WAYWARDNESS is the willful wandering away from a right course of conduct. It is a disobedient, unreliable, vacillating consciousness which arrives nowhere. Steadfastness of purpose gives one the firm foundation upon which to achieve ones goals. Waywardness must be changed to STEADFASTNESS.

Hypnotherapy, Guided Imagery, Shamanic Healing www.circleoneshamanichealing.com RESTLESSNESS is a too constant activity of the body, mind and soul. The soul is uneasy and unsure constantly seeking change. Having ones energy scattered, randomly searching for something will deny the results of prayer. Tranquillity of spirit will calm the mind and body and allow the poise and freedom from disturbing influences and thus gives us focused attention. Restlessness needs to be changed to TRANQUILLITY. IMPATIENCE is usually the unwillingness to suffer delays and opposition. This state results in irritation and petulance. If allowed to continue this can develop into peevishness and fretfulness over petty things. If long continued it can poison the entire system. Full Spiritual perception can never be achieved until this weakness is changed into the strength of the virtue PATIENCE. DISCONTENT is an unlovely quality that arises from dissatisfaction and unhappiness with things that can not be changed at the time. It is through the quality of ACQUIESCENCE that we learn to graciously yield to the temporarily unalterable conditions and recognize Divine timing in all things. IRRESOLUTION indicates a lack of determination, a weakness of will. Irresolution is not a temporary thing , as is indecision, which is a lack of intellectual conviction. It is a trait of character that must be changed into DECISIVENESS. This is the first step preceding all action. SELF-EXALTATION is the most disliked of all human qualities. This must not be confused with self-confidence which is the awareness that the power flowing through on is equal to the demand. The Egotist is selfish and self-centered. It is only by becoming more and more forgetful of self and thoughtful of others that we achieve SELFLESSNESS. At that time we become God conscious. The master-key to selfmastery is in self-forgetting. IGNORANCE is one of the greatest hindrance on the path of spiritual perception. To be ignorant of ones ignorance is the malady of the ignorant. Ignorance is the cause of most of the preceding hindrances. Therefore one must gain KNOWLEDGE OF GOD or SPIRIT to overcome this greatest obstacle. There are many ways in which to achieve this: Study of the teachings of the Divine Messengers, inner work through meditation, keeping oneself in a constant state of conscious awareness as we go about our daily lives. Recognizing God or Spirit in all things.
