How to learn to learn The learning process is as complicated as simple it sounds.

A language, a skill, an art or anything is learnt through mind only. You cannot learn the desired Object just by purchasing any book for learning that Object or reading that book in a casual manner. Sheer attendance in the class does not mean that one is learning something. Nobody can learn swimming just by sitting beside a river or pool. In fact, learning requires some serious and incessant efforts on the part of a determined learner. An unwilling learner can learn nothing. Even no body can teach a reluctant learner. So, before we start learning something, we must know How to learn to learn. Meaning of Learn The dictionary meaning of learn is to gain knowledge or Commit to memory. In simple words to learn means to acquire the acknowledge Interaction The knowledge cant be acquired, unless there is interaction between the learner and source Teacher, Book or something. Knowledge is transferred from source to learner through interaction. When you interact with yourself, you come to know about yourself. Self expression comes out of interaction with self. Knowledge of nature comes from the interaction with Mother Nature. When a poet interacts with nature, he is able to compose poems. When a saint interacts with nature, he is able to realize the almighty God. When a student interacts with a book or teacher, or a concept, he is able to get knowledge. But interaction is must, and it should be completed. The interaction should be at four levels. 1. 2. 3. 4. Physical Psychological Intellectual Spiritual

Unless interaction occurs at all four levels, it will not be completed. And an incomplete interaction wont transfer for the knowledge. 1. Physical interaction Physical interaction means a learner should be in front of the source physically. You can understand this in this way that a learner should

attend the class of his teacher regularly. Proximity to the source is necessary. 2. Psychological interaction Psychological interaction signifies that a learner should be in front of the source with his mind also. If you are present in the class physically, but your mind is not there, you are not in the class. And if you are not in the class, then there will be no interaction. No interaction means No transfer of knowledge from source to learner. 3. Intellectual interaction The intellectual interaction denotes that a learner should be before the source with his intellect i.e. what ever wit and wisdom he possesses; he must use that to understand, and acquire further knowledge from the source. Without applying the intellect, you cannot understand anything. So, intellectual interaction is also necessary for the acquirement of the knowledge from the source. 4. Spiritual interaction
