Part One: YOUR Epistemological World Views Summarize here your ndings (even if tentative!) about your theories of knowledge. Domains Natural Science Item #s 1, 5, 14 YOUR world view Evaluativist Brief Reason + Remarks Claims which are supported by more evidence are more favorable. It really depends on the theories being used. Some may be more effective in certain situations. Art, whether beautiful or not, depends on the person viewing it. There is only one thing that can be considered moral. Religion varies within people and cultures.

Part Two: Ways of Knowing How important are the different Ways of Knowing in the different domains? Rate them from 1 to 10 according to importance, with 10 as VERY IMPORTANT. If there are other ways of knowing/judging, use the last column and specify. Domains Natural Science Social Science Art Morality Religion Sense Perception 9 8 10 2 2 Reason 10 8 2 7 5 Language 6 7 6 7 10 Emotion 1 5 10 8 6 Others?

Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. Domains Natural Science % AUTHORITY 50 % EVIDENCE 50 100% Brief Reason + Remarks Natural science depends on theories that authorities make and the experiments that prove that it is right or wrong. We base our ndings in social science more on evidence, but the authority does play a part, although it is biased. There is no denying that the authority does play an important part. Art is mostly dependent on the person viewing it, although there are some people that do discern whether something is considered art or not. Morality comes from how we are raised up, by the culture we are immersed in and that also dictates how we act. Our parents raised us up to know what is moral and not, and we also learn from experience. Most, if not all, of the things that we learn from Religion come from the religious books/people that lead the specic religion.
