Iraqi Central Bank Consultant: soon to issue currency, a 100 thousand dinars
Palm - An adviser to the CBI the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, said that the Iraqi currency needed to expand and we will issue a currency of a 100 thousand dinars. Saleh added in a press statement that the central bank is considering the idea of re-structuring of currency in terms of specifications and forms so we will work to issue new categories of the coin have the ability to shorten quantities large financial aid, pointing out that trading continued to use the $100 is the biggest proof of the urgent need for the currency of this size. Salehi, and that the process of lifting of the zeroes needs time and official approval from the government and parliament, adding that the moment is Muhio to delete the zeros from the currency. http://nakhelnews.com/pages/news.php?nid=4366

Vic: Muhio is referring to a date with a holiday, likely Ramadan. It could also be a saint or prophet of their religion. As if to say, beyond that, its in the hands of Muhio (this saint). Joey wrapping around Dianas: Dinar Daddy article: Warning Of The Effects Of The New

Currency To Be Negative and Strict Procedures

AUGUST 17TH, 2011 05:33 PM POSTED IN NEWS (IRAQ & WORLD CURRENCY) The Central Bank of Iraq is heading towards the printing of new currency after deleting three zeros had announced last year, bank expert warned of dire consequences may result from this process in the event of failure to take tough measures to reduce these effects. It is useful to note that many countries already in Iraq go through such experience and has taken measures capable of maintaining the real value of cash Btabath ancient and modern, while stability of the edition of modern Turkey, Brazil and many countries of the world have experienced deleting three zeros, but managed to limit effects caused by the experience. The expert said that the bank change the currency by removing three zeros will lead to disastrous effects if the monetary authority has not taken firm action to reduce them. The executive director of the Association of Iraqi private banks Aziz Hassoun in an interview for (economic morning) that all the international experiences have passed this stage, such as Brazil and Trkiyao other countries, resulting in side effects and affected even the general level of prices towards the ascent, which led to the decline in the purchasing power of the currency. He stressed the need for the Central Bank of Iraq to take strict measures to strengthen the capacity of the decision to maintain the value of the cash by creating the required balance in the value of cash between the two currencies. Goldfinch warned of the instability of the exchange rate to act firmly to maintain the exchange rate equilibrium does not prejudice the value of currency in circulation of two currencies, and monitor the behavior of speculators who are trying to exploit the circumstances, as happened with the beginning of the occupation when you change the currency, where excelled others in the field of forging the new currency and the creation of differences between the categories of cash in the discharge and other tricks and manipulation, stressing that the experience was harsh and effects found so far by the launch of the decision to convert without follow-up time. On the possibility of the banking sector in creating awareness about the value of the required cash said that the banking sector on Bakiem notify customers of their currencies at the time of entry into force of the decision. He said it is important how to deal ministries and government departments and the private sector to the new situation and carry the responsibility of creating a citizens confidence in a strong new currency and the new reality, through their actions and dealings with the new publication. He stressed the need to study the reality of salaries and wages and maintenance of the required balance so as not to reflect the impact on the purchasing power of the citizen in case of a change of currency and without prejudice to acquired rights of staff and workers. He called the central bank to the need to control the exchange rate effective tool in achieving the required balance and maintain the value The real criticism of the new, stressing the need to address the counterfeiting of currency. He concluded his speech (economic morning) the need for a CBI ability to perform not only make decisions and the formation of work teams have the ability to address all possible effects of treatment and their pace consistent and sustained follow-up implementation of the resolution and it may accommodate effects caused by the experience of the new edition after the occupation and painful effects that remain even now. The Iraqi Central Bank has approved a change the old currency after deleting three zeros and make them carry printed in three languages for the purpose of submitting them to the concerned authorities for approval and ratification, without specifying a date for circulation. http://www.alsabaah.com/ArticleShow.aspx?ID=12284

Joey: Wow, So, when they accept the new currency in transactions on the street or in shops, they should be aware of what its worth and how to best handle it with the new reality of changed value. Patriot: We could spend 2 days taking this article line by line, and expound or cross reference with others. This expels so many rumors. Like the 3 languages, some say it will never have English on their currency. It says here that they will. Theyre also talking the word, prejudice which dispels the rumor it will LOP. Joey: Yea, and they want the people to really understand. That last sentence is a great one, for approval and ratification without specifying a date. Patriot: I had to laugh, you mean hes not going to tell us the rate, Joey? Im going to start a rumor that I know the date. Letem prove that I dont know itlaughing. From Dinar Daddy, that article is powerful and covers a lot of ground.

Joey statement: Somebody named Bballs re-quoted the Letter of Intent by Shabibi in an address to the IMF on 3/3/11 Joey reads: This is pretty clear "revalue the remaining foreign

currency" "Diversify currency composition" & "remove exchange restrictions"

Revalue the remaining foreign currency denominated balance sheet items! COMPONENTS/RESTRUCTURING TO RV I have reviewed in some detail the requisite criteria for the restructuring and implementation of the Central government investment accounts under the PFM Public Financial management System as mandated by the MOF and coordinated with the IMF & World Bank. The process is somewhat skewed given that the plan methodology is integrated with the Iraq 2011 Budget which as we all know has fluctuated pro forma income and production projections with the contributory oil pricing variable. With these in mind, one should also bear in mind that the Iraq economic policy has experienced delays in their capital budget primarily due to the political uncertainties as noted in the IMF report (noted below). The key components of production increases, pricing and large investments in the oil infrastructure have reduced the 2011 budget deficit while allowing for an increase in more transparent government finance activities. This trend toward a surplus position in the following years is realistic and will put government finances on a sustainable footing to help rebuild the governments financials. I believe that the revaluation we are looking for is more than clearly defined and outlined in the letter of intent to the IMF: Iraq: Letter of Intent, Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies, and Technical Memorandum of Understanding http://www.imf.org/e.../irq/030311.pdf 1.We have worked with IMF staff to complete the review of exchange laws and regulations and are considering measures to remove the identified exchange restrictions on current international transactions. 2. In this regard, we formed a Bank Reconciliation Unit that comprises technical level staff from the banks, the CBI and the Ministry of Finance, and with the assistance of Ernst and Young (who were the agents of the Ministry of Finance in the external debt restructuring process) to: (i) deal with all legacy external liabilities taking into account the governments actions in the context of Iraqs external debt restructuring (ii) indentify and propose to write-off non-performing loans to defunct state-owned enterprises; (iii) propose a course of action for other remaining unreconciled accounts; and (iv) after the balance sheets have been cleaned up, revalue the remaining foreign currency denominated balance sheet items. 3. The CBI will follow the guidelines to diversify currency composition and establish an appropriate duration and credit risk profile, and build capacity for risk analysis. I encourage everyone to review this letter and contrast its content to the economic reality of revaluation as not just a pipe dream but a documented FACT as outlined. http://www.imf.org/e.../irq/030311.pdf FOR THOSE WHO STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND http://help.sap.com/...106/content.htm Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/70800-revalue-the-remaining-foreign-currency-denominated-balancesheet-items/#ixzz1VOISpnE9

Joey Summarizes & Paraphrases above article: The article pointed out a couple things that Shabibi wrote to the IMF in an Iraq Letter of Intent and Memo of Economic and Financial Policies and Technical Memo of Understanding. This comes straight from Shabibi, she begins to read: we have Worked with the IMF staff to complete the exchange laws and regulations and considering measures to remove the
identified exchange restrictions on current international transactions. Then he talks about banks, relative to dealing with external liabilities, talking about debt restructuring dealing with banks and their external liabilities. Also, the need to identify and propose to write-off non performing loans to the defunct state owned enterprises, as well as propose a course of action for other remaining non-reconciled accounts, (so hes shoring up the banks and reconciling everything in the bank on balance sheets), then he says that after that balance sheet cleanup, this is what he wants to doand he said he will revalue the remaining foreign currency denominated balance sheet items and the CBI will follow the guidelines to diversify currency composition and establish an appropriate duration and credit risk profile and build a capacity for risk analysis.

Joey: I always thought this was such a huge, huge article, Im glad it was posted again, because Ive missed lately some of the impact of what he really wrote. He really felt that the accounts he established for DFI funds would be safer in the USA; he had kept the Iraqi bank out of the jurisdiction of the GOI. He projected his thoughts that the Iraqi GDP would be around 12% for 2011, and what he really, really said he will

revalue the remaining foreign currency, he will diversify the currency composition, and he will remove the exchange restrictions Shabibi told us this in March, addressing the IMF. Debbie: Expectations of lower U.S. dollar exchange rate
Author: the future of Iraq 17/8/2011 0:00 Baghdad / Iraq's future Experts expect economic affairs depreciation of the dollar to (thousand Iraqi dinars) and the price of oil (60) dollars per barrel because of the continuing credit crisis, the U.S., which began directly affect the local economy. and said an economic expert peace Sumaisem the fact that the Iraqi economy Rieia depends in revenues for oil which in this case is directly linked with the outside world and what happens at home is a reaction of what is happening abroad, so the decline of the dollar and oil is reflected in the budget that relies on (98%) of oil, predicting that the price of a barrel of oil (60) dollars At worst, afterthought "may rise when demand for winter to increase the demand for it," The price of the dollar could reach (1000 dinars). and expected Sumaisem continuation of this decline, especially in America to the fact that there is a serious crisis again coincide with the first crisis a crisis in the euro area . Patriot: Interesting article. Theres a lot of concern in the US from TV news. Our US mess is as much a mess for the rest of the world as it is to our own nation, right now. Some nations can get smug with their wealth but find that theyre wealth is very much tied to the US, Germany and France can shake their fist at the Mediterranean nations. Europe is about to unravel. Germany thought they were so well off, but they are starting to have the same type problems that we are having, though their issues seem to be moving downward much more quickly than we have been experiencing. We are still the most stable economy in the world. Many nations have wealth because the sell to the US. When we stop buying, the wealthy nations fall too. And that is pretty much what this article is saying. We get emails stating the dollar is unraveling., ehhh, maybe not, the dollars really just moving up and down, along with oil because of lower demand due to slowing economies not needing so much energy as shifts shut down. This is not such good news for Europe, but good for US. Joey: When it comes to the USD and oil, this is why Iraq is working hard to diversify. Theyve said theyre not so concerned aobut the dollar or oil price drops. Patriot: Right, in fact theyre moving back into the dollar and US T-Bonds from the World Stock Markets. They trust the dollar more. If the dollar truly tanks someday, the US will still be much less effected by that effect than the effect that event would have on the rest of the world. We still have problems and needs to change, like all households and nations..but Deb: A member of the Finance Committee for the National Alliance MP Abdul Hussein

And it called to be the exploitation of these guarantees amounts to Iraqi governmental institutions, so that there are important projects such as housing and the development of agriculture and to attract investments, which must rely on banks and deposits. Iraq growing its own says Agriculture Ministry

17/08/2011 15:43 Baghdad, Aug. 17 (AKnews) - The Agriculture Ministry says that 90% of the fresh vegetables on the Iraqi market today are locally produced, signaling the success of the governments import policies. Vegetables in the local market Ministry spokesman Karim al-Tamimi told AKnews that the ministry has imposed strict controls on the import of vegetables with an outright ban on some strategic crops, in a bid to support Iraqi agriculture.. In 2007, the government launched a scheme to improve the agricultural situation in the country, setting a 10-year time limit for Iraq to become self-sufficient in staple foodstuffs. Included in the initiative is the provision of basic supplies to local producers, such as seeds, pesticides and fertilizers, as well as helping with land reclamation issues and ensuring market prices for their harvests. Reported by Haider Ibrahim RN/KA http://aknews.com/en/aknews/2/257544/

Vic: Thats pretty Cool! Joey: And theyre losing 100,000 acres a year to desertification and its good to hear theyre doing the right things to save that arid process take back that land for agriculture growth with irrigation. Its neat to see them proceed to recover from years of hopelessness by taking loans for farming. Its amazing to see this self sustaining success Vic: Joey, remember a couple weeks ago we read about food coming in, but it wasnt being watched by the ministry because the food was spoiled and contaminated. The triangle of the food basket area they call it between the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers, is very good to see them get that producing again. Joey: Refers to so many articles coming out about the Private Sector and how important it is for Shabibi to get that sector pumped up to diversify the economy so not to be too reliant on oil. I thought of Vic when I read this next one because he likes articles like this: Joey reads: Iraq is preparing to produce two billion cubic feet of gas per day in a joint

venture with Shell and Mitsubishi

Posted 17/08/2011 03:05 PM BAGHDAD: Showed an agreement signed a joint venture between two companies (Shell) Dutch and (Mitsubishi), the Japanese and the Iraqi Oil Ministry, and presented to the Iraqi parliament, a few days ago, Iraq's production of natural gas will rise to two billion cubic feet per day, while profits would be that they would gain about 31.1 billion dollars over the term of the contract, which provides gas to invest in three oil fields in southern Iraq. Indicates summary venture agreement which will be called (Basrah Gas Company) and received the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary days before a copy of it in English that the duration of the investment in the joint venture for up to 25 years, with a value of approximately $ 17.2 billion after the value is set in the earlier 12 billion dollars, according to the contract, the Iraqi government will own 51% of the shares of the project, and (Shell) 44% and (Mitsubishi) 5% of the shares. The Convention stipulates that (Basrah Gas Company) will work on the collection and processing of natural gas associated with oil extracted from three fields of southern massive a Rumaila, West Qurna - Phase I, and Zubair, and is expected to reap Iraq almost from 31.1 billion dollars in taxes, fees, and sales of raw gas during the contract period. And draws the Convention to the project (Basra Gas Company) will provide natural gas to the Iraqi market to feed the power plants and to meet local needs, and then heading towards the export surplus of it, is expected to be about 600 million cubic feet per day. Remember, the Convention that the funding of the project needs to contribute to Iraq with 5.236 billion dollars in the company 0.1524000000 dollars to rehabilitate the infrastructure, and (Shell) and (Mitsubishi) Vstsihaman about $ 7 billion, while funding the remaining amount through the revenues of the project, The contract included an optional loan worth one billion dollars from two companies to the Iraqi side to finance the project. Convention, and explains that about $ 12.8 billion from the funds of the project funding will be spent on rehabilitation of existing oil infrastructure and build new ones, while the remaining amount will be spent on a project to build a liquid natural gas is implemented (Shell) and (Mitsubishi). The summary that the project may sell the gas produced by (the South Gas Company) of the Iraqi government price-based world, while indicating pricing associated with crude oil and gas that, when the price of Brent oil $ 75 a barrel, you will get (Basrah Gas Company) on the 3.22 dollars per million British thermal units of dry gas which is sold for (gas south), the latter may have to sell gas at $ 1.04 only per million British thermal units for the production plants of Iraq's electricity industry, which means that the (gas south) will have to pay huge subsidies to support the domestic gas price may increase with global gas prices. Noteworthy that, despite the fact that Iraq is the tenth largest gas reserves in the world, it produces about 1.5 billion cubic feet a day only, and burn half of this amount per day due to lack of necessary infrastructure for gas investment and marketing. http://www.alnaspaper.com/inp/view.asp?ID=2927

Patriot: That 2 B Cubic Feet is like pumping another 300,000 barrels of oil per day, or 10% more than today. Its significant. Vic: Imagine how much money theyve lost over just the past few years as theyve had no way to capture and contain that gas so theyve just been Flaring it off which is just burning it in the air so it doesnt explode but its totally wasted naturally burned away. Joey: Did you notice it said they just signed that new contract a few days ago. Vic: Yes, thats incredible, so what does that mean? Joey: Well they werent allowed to sign any more contracts until they had completed the oil and gas laws. I guess they have done that. Vic, youre also going to love this next one, because youre an Iranian, and kind of just like this guy! Joey reads: An Iraqi man is suing the country's leaders to demand his fair share of the

Arab nation's oil wealth, a judicial spokesman told the AFP news agency.
Iraq Court Hussein Abdul Kadhim's court case is scheduled for August 29 in the provincial court of Diwaniyah in southern Iraq, according to a report by the AFP. "I filed a case against the three presidencies of Iraq, demanding my rights as a citizen, which are guaranteed by the constitution," Kadhim, a 46-year-old unemployed playwright, told AFP. Kadhim, a married father of six daughters, was referring to Iraq's president, Jalal Talabani, the prime minister Nuri al-Maliki and the parliament speaker Osama al-Nujaifi. His case isn't without merit: Article 111 of the Iraqi constitution states that oil and gas are owned by all the people of Iraq "in all the regions and governorates "I demand my share of oil and gas extracted from Iraq, because I'm an Iraqi citizen and I must have a share of my country's wealth," Kadhim said to the AFP, but did not specify a monetary figure. Iraq produces 2.7 million barrels of oil a day, of which around 2.2 million is exported. Crude sales account for the lion's share of government revenues, much of which is lost due to corruption and incompetence, said the AFP report. Transparency International has ranked the country as the fourth most corrupt in the world

http://www.babnews.com/inp/view.asp?ID=43656 Joey: I love it, I could picture Vic going over that and kicking some butt. Vic: Thats right! Joey says another came out about the private industrial sector, The Private Industrial

The private industrial sector a main pillar in supporting the national economy. And corruption is without achieving the ambitious
On Tuesday, 16-08-2011 01: 55 PM The owner of a factory for the Citizen: If the state has the support of the private sector Iraq promoting progress The Citizen-Ali Shaker al-sultani All the countries of the world to seek its economy by all means available to it starting to harness the Competence or the potential available and mobilizing efforts at the level of the individual or the state with in the pursuit of scientific and technological developments and huge financial budgets for development programs according to studied plans to put off a near-and long-term although it is not in isolation from various private sectors, but have some of those states to provide the utmost importance of the private sector and to support development and the full in the protection of domestic production to reach a solid economy and bread of the people, in the land of the two rivers and suffered by the private sector in the various levels out of the government's attention and support to stop the of many local industries, and this sector is suffering from the legacy of the past to find his ambitions after the change in the frustrations of the schemes drawn up by the corruption of not permitting Iraq to stand up to the market and consumers the world and export its funds to fill the coffers of very to starve the Iraqi people and their children. The Citizen has had a visit to one of the private sector to produce in the area of in Karbala was suspended by the words " The laboratory EU) met with the director of the laboratory, Abdul Karim Al Yasiri carried out with such a dialogue. Eu lab is the commercial marketing or what? -Not Commercial Marketing But the machines involved in the installation of the plant is of European origin of the Danish company, (k-DE M), a world-high efficiency in production in order not to take this term limited space without We are ready to receive anyone who can find flaws in both the product or equipment or machinery in order to reach the best production. What are the economic feasibility in front of this quantity of imported?

-Production of alone per day (600) 2 and (200) a 2 year B (35), a second B (20) working as well as the involvement of the dozens of other labour from outside the laboratory, add to this the fact that the funds Iraqi funds are in the Iraqi treasury to value for money on imports, which have millions of dollars to other countries in a time when officials by the purchase of the importer, who does not live up ,)is it reasonable that we waste our money, we better cheaper price. However, we have an ambitious development and the expansion of the number of machines and labour, but what it is regrettable the obstacles that face our work and to prevent the achievement of ambitious, these obstacles imported from abroad, which plunged the projects, particularly the product of Kuwait, which helps to promote imports are responsible who impose the terms of the implementation of the projects of Kuwait, it must be pointed out, the official implementation of direct project in karbala province, killed in Karbala the Kuwaiti products brought on the sidewalks and streets to start with Corrosion before starting the implementation of projects and thus was the sale of the rest of at very cheap prices to the contractors, the is the last paragraph implementation beginning in any project, all of this in order to gain illegal profits of these projects to fix this product at (18) thousand dinars instead of the real price of (12) one thousand dinars, and I support that this person has found financial corruption of seven billion dinars, so we have to achieve some of the things if we are going to keep the local production and promoting progress, but it was all. The administrative and financial corruption until he comes to the Iraqi state prepares for the killing and to draw up a programme to support the private sector in order to ensure a quick steps in the process of industrial development as well as in the countries of the world, which attaches great importance to the private sector in all its aspects. This means that there is a perception in the quality of imported over local product, right? -The issue is not as you think. ,But bear in all joints and commissions charged by ,what I am saying is not justification or indictment is the fact that does not accept uncertainty, local production of each of especially in conformity with international standards, according to the British laboratory tests, construction, as well as laboratory, on the one hand, compression of Salts and exclusion, but nevertheless the officials insist on the Kuwaiti product as a condition in the implementation of projects, there is no justification for this, and officials to examine the local product comparing it with the Kuwaiti production as well as we drive our production under the laboratory examination there are more (35), were processed in Karbala, laboratory and the results of very high, as the degree to which the compression (30) newton while we're producing article with ranging from (45-52) newton, doubling the imported and some tests reached (56) Newton as Kuwait is raised in the Iraqi market, which came in the implementation of the projects have been examined fixed laboratory construction, were not up to (28) the there is a large amount of it was not for six months and with Corrosion as well as damaged the other, while our product since four years from the date of the beginning of production, which was used in some areas and residential areas, did not show any signs of it, even if a single piece, and I call on all official and a journalist to have access to these sites to see the same with the specifications of the production by more than four years have not been affected. As for the prices they take Kuwaiti product rate (18) one thousand dinars per square meter, while the price per square meter of local (13) one thousand dinars as I said before does not reach to the Kuwaiti imported products or other in the face of these differences after the submission of a complaint of local government in Karbala, there had been some The turnout for the local product, but not to the level of the country's ambitious would increase national production. So what is the scenario that about this suffering? -First if we are going for the Advancement of Iraqi economic reality to the state or to officials in the project pledges not to put a condition of the importer or the Kuwaiti the implementation of projects with emphasis on quality and think seriously of the support for local production and promote it as the best. In all the countries that we visited, their governments to prevent imported encourages local production against Iraq, and even the state of Kuwait is imported or depend on national production and development? Unfortunately when you go to Safwan sees a sign says to allow national production and this paradox is painful and why don't we say Iraqi national production and encourage production as in all the countries of the earth? to become of the world we are a good, industry and agriculture, and great minds. For our part, we have a clarification after officials discovered that the local production is the best, which called on officials in the local government to review this matter and to respond to domestic production in the implementation of the projects, but not to the level of ambition, and I hope to all local governments and the central government to pay attention to local industries and support and development because they are the best of the second I assure that after ten years from now will find that the same local quality after using it, the better, not the Importer, who began eroding beyond use factors such climate change. We finished our investigation in one of the local production promised to impose the logic that we get back to the subject of navigation in the history of peoples that provide built Shorthand steps in strategic planning based on the infrastructure and the development of local industries, as people did not recover and promoted consumption of bread others without production. http://www.almowatennews.com/news_view_25112.html

Joey summarizes the article above: The Iraqis are producing better products than those being imported but theyre struggling to convince the minds of both Kuwaitis and Iraqi people themselves. Iraqi citizens like things produced in China better than those of their own things. This could be from not having the money to make change, for the lower priced homemade good. The imports may have a higher price which is easier to transact for making change, plus the higher foreign price may mean percieved higher quality, that

may not really be true at all. This is well worth the read, for people who want to understand how the people of Iraq are struggling to stand up, theyre being starved out of the market by imports. Patriot: Its interesting how history repeats itself, for those of us in the 50s and 60s how prejudiced we were about products made in Japan and the American families still had harsh feelings. And like Japan, Iraq needs to change the peoples attitudes by creating better higher quality goods. Like Japan has earned our respect, and helped us get over hurt feelings and prejudices, it takes time. Iraq will have to prove it to themselves and the neighbors, with fairness, goodness and quality. Joey says she has a couple Al-Quaeda also states: You can see our US Troops training the Iraqis on how to protect themselves and their people. Its very evident

Huge militant arms cache found in Erbil

17/08/2011 13:11 Erbil, August 17 (AKnews) Kurdistan Regions Protection Agency announced on Wednesday that it has seized a huge arms cache in Erbil, the Kurdistan Regions capital, intended for attacks within the city by armed Islamic group Ansar al-Islam. Kurdistan is a relatively safe and stable region as compared to the rest of Iraq. The last major explosion that left casualties took place in 2007. A statement released by the Protection Agency said: An anti-terror force in Erbil seized a large weapons cache that belongs to Ansar al-Islam. The source of the arms is Mosul. The terrorist group has smuggled the arms into Erbil over years to pile them up in the cache. But after much surveillance, early this week the cache was located and seized, the statement read. Last year, a similar weapons cache was seized in Erbil that police said belonged to the same group. Karzan Kanabi RY/PS http://www.aknews.com/en/aknews/3/257507/

Joey: Imagine what they would be able to do with Years of accumulating weapons and explosives. And its interesting that the Iraqis are now doing surveillance to combat the enemies of their country. Patriot: Remember a few nights ago that Erbil, in Kurdistan is number 20 in the world for tourism. Imagine if the terrorists were in control. Theyre protecting themselves more now. Joey has another article about Al-Qaeda

Renewed fears of al Qaeda in Iraq

Posted 17/08/2011 10:00 AM BAGHDAD (Reuters): Iraq has two of the bloodiest days since the painful reminder of the government and U.S. forces were preparing to leave, that the groups of the base could still launch coordinated attacks and test the security forces, the events of widespread destruction. Has seen more than 12 Iraqi city of suicide attacks and car bombs on Monday that killed about 70 people in a surge of violence ahead of only five months ahead of schedule to complete the withdrawal of U.S. troops. The coordinated attacks have shattered the calm that reigned in the month of Ramadan, the most deadly since March, when he was killed by gunmen and suicide bombers more than 50 people in an attack on a local government building in Tikrit. In yesterday's attacks, two bombs killed at least 37 people in the city of Kut, the Shiite majority. But other attacks included a suicide attack on a prison held by the prisoners from the base in Tikrit, a suicide bombing and another in a building belonging to the local government in which eight people were killed north of Baghdad. There was no organization responsible for the wave of attacks in Sunni areas and Shiites, but the authorities blamed on Islamic State of Iraq's al-Qaeda. The experts said the breadth of the attacks shows the flexibility of the insurgency, but see that bloody day and one does not mean a return to the pattern of the campaign carried out by gunmen at the height of sectarian fighting in 2006-2007. Said Jeremy Binnie terrorism expert management and security control of the defense establishment and intelligence and security analysis(Jeans) "This appeared to represent a return to their style, where the old are trying to do multiple attacks to convey a message of strength that they have not been exhausted." "But their operations have become more sporadic manner. This does not necessarily indicate a worrying deterioration in security in Iraq over the long term." Although they have lost key leaders and land from which to work, the organization of the Islamic State of Iraq, launched major attacks on security forces to undermine confidence in their ability to protect Iraqis, after more than eight years of the U.S. invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. In October of last year, gunmen took hostages during a prayer service Sunday in a church in Baghdad. And killed about 52 of the hostages and the police in the incident. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility.

And al-Qaeda militants attacked the headquarters of the local council in Tikrit, in March and took hostages before security forces stormed the building. And killed at least 35 people. He said U.S. and Iraqi officials that the Iraqi army can contain internal threats. But many Iraqis crossing the privately expressed fears that Iraqi security forces are not ready and that the country could descend again into violence and without the presence of U.S. troops as a buffer on the ground. Mahdi al-Moussawi, said Vice-President of the local council in Kut after the attacks there, said the hallmarks of al Qaeda and clear over the place and he should blame the security authorities in the region because they failed in their duty. He says Iraqi and U.S. officials said they expect more attacks with the approach of the departure of U.S. forces in the test most likely positions to officials in Baghdad and Washington who are seeking the possibility of the survival of U.S. forces to carry out military training. And the survival of U.S. troops on Iraqi soil is a sensitive issue and avoid further violence on a large scale would put pressure on the fragile coalition of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki made up of Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, who are discussing the presence of U.S. troops. The analyst said Gala January in an institution any. HP. S. Global Insight, "It is ironic that these attacks ... give credibility to those who say the Iraqi security forces still need U.S. help - rather than to pay the Iraqi government to take a decision on early withdrawal." Washington ended the combat mission in Iraq in August of last year. U.S. forces are involved now in training only and to provide advice and assistance to Iraqi forces and was still conducting operations to combat terrorism with the Iraqi army. The rule is not the only source of the threat, where Iraqi Shiite militiamen tried to step up attacks on U.S. forces, especially in southern Iraq, where U.S. officials say that Iran is helping the militants. The month of June, the deadliest in two years for U.S. soldiers as the number of dead included 14 deaths, mostly due to rocket attacks by Shiite militias. U.S. officials say that since then, attacks have fallen, but they are still at the stage of "wait and see" to know that the attacks will increase again with the start of the withdrawal of U.S. troops. The cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's position clear earlier this month. Sadr wrote in an official letter to say that those who remained in Iraq will be treated as an unjust invasion force to be faced with armed resistance. http://www.babnews.com/inp/view.asp?ID=43623

Joey: You think about this strong budding country starting to stand up for themselves, and they have these strong ties to neighboring countries, like Turkey and Iran, who are guilty of so many atrocities of their own against their own people, and yet they have all these contracts, gas, oil pipelines theyre cooperating with for imports and exports, their countries are truly tied together which is kind of frightening, but let me read this one sentence article again, and then I have another.it says, Iraq is a sovereign country and we will not be subordinated to any other state; Mr. Sheemi said, admits that Iran has a terrific amount of influence on Iraqs policy. but..listen to this next article which Joey reads:

Iraqi parliamentary move to use the economic card in order to stop violations of the Iranian
August 17th, 2011 01:14 pm Posted in NEWS (Iraq & World Currency) BAGHDAD arenas of liberation Iraqi parliamentarians to adopt a trend to urge the Government to take the positions of more serious transgressions against Iran. The trend is to support the parliamentary coalition of Kurdish blocs and Iraq, using the economic trump card to force Iran to give in to Iraqi demands to halt violations of Tehran. In this regard, MP Osman Algehiche for Iraq, it was possible to use the cards to pressure against Iran, including the suspension of commercial contracts estimated at billions of dollars, can not accept that the bombing of Iraq and provide money to the party Ikcefh, and this is rejected by us as well as the Iraqi people . He pointed out that many members of the House of Representatives expressed their disappointment twice the governments position toward the excesses of Iran: We want the government a decisive stand and candid towards Iran, and away from the political turn a blind eye and ignore the practices of Iran, and to remain silent about the blatant interference in Iraqi affairs. In turn, she asked a member of the coalition of Kurdish blocs Ashwaq dry for government spokesman Ali

al-Dabbagh, and why he disappeared these days, without any official position to attack Iran, and said: We have shown our support to the call to use the economic card against Iran, particularly after the failed efforts to convince Iran that their positions be supportive of Iraq and its people amid the apparent absence of government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh, adding that the coming days will see the collection of signatures in the House of Representatives, to activate the procedures for the parliament to stand against the excesses of Iran. http://www.altahreernews.com/inp/view.asp?ID=1243 http://translate.google.com/translate? hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ar&tl=en&u=http://www.altahreernews.com/inp/view.asp%3FID %3D1243

Joey asks: Do you think Iran is pushing Iraq too far, by bombing the Iraqi people? Vic: Yes, WOW, well Ill bet if we heard about the 36 F-16 jets their buying, Ill bet the Iranians heard about it too. Joey: It says enough is enough. Look at the Kurd border, theyve destroyed their livestock, and many people. Kurds tried to tell them to stop bombing or we wont let your goods come into our country and Iran stopped, but now theyve started up again. This is exactly why, the US cannot remove their troops. Vic wants to read an article from Iraq Business News but first lists a few of the company names and countries that we know from reading a couple days ago that 41 companies are coming with accepted bids for oil and gas projects already contracted Below are just a few of the names of companies coming to Iraq. BP Oil - British, Sepsis Spanish, China National China, Chevron USA, ENI Italy, JS Kaltech -Korean Jordan Petco Jordanian, MotorOil Hella Greece, Premier Morrocco, Pimokin- China , Total - French SK S Korea, Toyota Jap, Valero USA, San-Hua China, Exxon Mobil USA, Indian Oil India, Petro Vietnam, Shell British and Royal Dutch, Tukra Turkey, Marathon Oil, USA VIC Reads: Iraqs Seven-Mth Oil Export Revenue Exceeds $48bn Posted on 17 August 2011. Tags: oil exports
Iraq earned more than $48 billion in revenue from crude oil exports in the first seven months of this year, Oil Minister Abdul Kareem al-Luaibi [Elaibi] has announced, according to Bloomberg. The countrys 2011 oil exports will exceed $80 billion and have already helped the government ease the budget deficit and carry out several projects, Luaibi said onTuesday in a speech in Baghdad. Iraqs oil exports for August currently average 2.2 million barrels per day. Crude exports had declined to fewer than 2.2 million in July because of technical problems after having reached 2.273 million in June, Falah al-Amri, chairman of the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), said in an interview two weeks ago. Reuters also reports that the dip in July was due to more crude being used to meet growing local demand for fuel because of hot weather. Oil exports are due to rise to 2.5 million barrels per day next year, Luaibi told reporters after the speech. http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/2011/08/17/iraq%E2%80%99s-seven-mth-oil-export-revenue-exceeds-48bn/

Vic: Obviously its going to go up above 2.5 Billion with all the contracts just signed, the 41 coming in with accepted bids, and similarly the names of companies listed above, not to mention that the big London Conference on September 7th has nothing to do with oil, or these already completed Oil contracts or the companies already listed, but for new industries and companies not yet committed. It looks like Iraq is really getting ready to crank it up a notch, doesnt it? Patriot: Yes, it truly does. The way its worded, they have been receiving all this revenue for the first seven months of this year; I thought they were under sanctions, I thought they werent allowed to have access to their money? (Patriot ponders aloud?) Joey found on December 17th, that said the UN said most of the

sanctions were lifted, except for a few items on a short list that they still had to do. So I guess that they did get access to their oil sales money in January, huh Joey? Vic: Either way, we know they got access to their DFI funds on June 30th, so either way, those months were included in that. Remember when I was calculating the oil revenues? And it was pretty much where their reported revenues related accurately for the first seven months. Joey agrees: They came right out and told us that they were going to allow special access to the oil revenues to engage full services necessary to get out of the remainder of the sanctions, including finding dead bodies, antiquities, forming committees to help survey the grounds of the port of Mubarak. We read articles that they were using that money for the infrastructure of Iraq. Patriot review for new people: June 20 and June 22 were very important days for Shabibi and the council of Minisiters. Can you recap? Joey: Talks about having an Executive and Legislative separation like we do. Dr. Shabibi, CBI Governor stood in front of the Council of Ministers along with Prime Minister Maliki on June 20, 2011 and asked permission to RV the currency; On June 22, 2011, he got an approval to move ahead and RV. Patriot: And thats important because some are saying there are all sorts of holdups, but according to the documents weve seen, and the articles were reading, Iraq is in control of this process to follow. Dr. Shabibi wants no mistakes. The Kuwaiti RV in 1994 was wildly fluctuating between .24 cents and $9 dollars or so. This will be a managed float with very little fluctuation allowed, it will have limits. It will be very clean and stabile. Everyone should read the Freedom From Intel document found on our website entitled The Iraq Project! The banking and security issues we read in the news is clearly represented at the end of this report, they are following the plan. Joey: And the Letter of Intent from Shabibi to the IMF on March 3rd, he told us that he had to audit the banks, purge old bank accounts, start with a new reconciled balanceand what did he find in that audit review process? He found billions of dollars in Osama Bin Laden accounts, or other known Al Qaeda from intel we found in Pakistan; He also found the activities of the counterfeiters with all the losses of accumulated fake notes piled up everywhere; and 100 Million Dollars in a neighbors bank account that they could track and go capture retrievaland these are the examples of the timing and obstacles that were recorded in interviews with CBIs Selah a couple weeks ago. Shabibi is accurate, detailed, meticulous, and he found these things! And he knows better than to RV the currency unleashing the wealth, until he took care of these situations, by force if needed. And this should give us a lot of hope, this is the security part of the banking and economy they do go hand in hand, toward stability and prosperity. Patriot: Sometimes we think hes sitting in the office with his feet on the desk capriciously deciding oh, today seems like a good day to RV. No, he has a process. He has guidelines and parameters to follow which includes catching crooks before the wealth is spread so their sticky fingers are behind bars or somewhere else. It is like we would go after thieves or embezzelers in political and financial positions in our municipality or city government. Money is flat out disappearing; wouldnt it be big news if your county treasurer was siphoning off cash? Were seeing photos of prominent Iraqi politicians hanging out with some Al Qaeda homies! Who was it Joey? Joey: The Minister of Interior! Patriot: yea, see, a very important headline type of job and here we have him doing photo ops with known terrorist gang members? There are no delays. Joey: They were taking money to payoff bribes to get Al Quaeda members out of jail. Patriot: Nepotism. When you get all the pieces in front of you, theyre just taking care of business, theres nothing wrong here, theyre not trying to hold out or hurt the world and us in it. Theyre smart and methodical people. Its a tough situation over there, people living in a cemetery and who knows wherever they can squat. The leaders have to be sensitive and deliberate. Theyre coming into their own. Historically, its good to watch and see this unfold as they slow but sure take back control from years of restriction and war.

Vic: Dr. Shabibi mad a very important statement in the spring, he said, The CBI saves the money and the GOI spends the money. A caller came on and gave Shabibi accolades, and Allawi was educated in London, and we talked about the cultural aspect of age of a senior being shown respect; and that the venerable older and wiser ones are leading the way and showing the younger guys about economy and money. The best thing weve heard is that the top politicians are taking salary cuts. This demonstrates they all are willing to sacrifice to make this first year or two viable, economically and honestly. Shabibi has shown them that a lot of money has been lost to corruption, and the budget numbers have to add up. The contracts and the budgets have to make sense. The corruption of the Electricity Minister taking bribes is a prime example that Shabibi used to show the remaining leaders of what not to do, what must be stopped. Shabibis statement about Saving Money is being held over the leaders and they have to lead the way by example. Patriot: Just go to bed tonight knowing everything is OK. Shabibi is feeling the pulse of this thing, and crossing off his checklist, I do believe its getting shorter or narrower in focus. I know we keep saying but nobody knows for sure. The process is being followed. Call Continues, Transcript Ends!
