SHORT COURSES
WORKCOVER NSW TRAINING & LICENSING
Your opportunity to undertake training and assessment in your choice of one (1) machine over a four (4) day period. (Please note experienced operators, may only require 2-3 days). You can chose from the following machines for licensing: Front End Loader (LF) RIIMPO321A Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat) (LS) RIIMPO318A Backhoe Loader (LB) RIIMPO319A Excavator Hydraulic (LE) RIIMPO320A Dozer (RIIMPO324A) and Grader (R11MPO323A) are also available (for Tamworth location only for additional $200.00) Acadamic Award: Upon successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment which is recognised nationally What to Wear: All course participants are required to wear appropriate work attire. Assessment Outcomes: Each assessment involves theory and practical elements. Successful participants may then lodge their application and a fee of $65 per machine to WorkCover NSW which will gain you a National Certificate of Competency. Participants may be able to choose to do either Grader or Bulldozer instead of the above machines, however please note no WorkCover ticket will be issued for these machines - participants will receive training and the fundamentals in operation. Important Information: Participants MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD to participate in this course. It is extremely important that participants provide documents of identity that add up to 100 points on the day of assessment. These documents should be the same documents that you will provide to the Australia Post Customer Service Officer as evidence of identity when you lodge your application. Within these documents you must be able to show your photo, date of birth, signature and current address. The documents must be original documents. Certified copies will not be accepted. The Assessor will verify your identity, date of birth, signature and current address prior to commencing the assessment. The Assessor will refuse to conduct your assessment if you have failed to provide adequate evidence of identity. The Assessor will record your identity details on the CA1 Form and then hand the documents straight back to you. Full details on document types and their point value are available. If the participant requires a VERBAL Assessment, this must be specified at the time of registration. Verbal assessments will incur an additional hourly rate charge.
