What is it about? With the increasing number of schools going for outdoor experiential education programme, it is important to know the basic facilitation techniques to allow maximum learning from a trip. This workshop aims to offer facilitators a keen understanding of their own style and their audience so as to effectively engage the Body, Mind Heart & Spirit. Participants will be able to frame their experiences and be open to the learning that can emerge from the individuals & the group.

Workshop Methodology: Presentations Interactive indoor & outdoor sessions This workshop will be focused on keeping objectives behavioural and cognitive in scope rather than content-directed. Participants will have the opportunity to look closely at their own biases and engage in an honest dialogue about them.

Who is speaking? Or Chee Meng is an experiential training consultant and an Associate of the LAM Institute and Founder of Team Kairos based in Singapore. His specialty and passion is enabling high impact Teams to unleash their true potential in their day to day professional as well as personal lives. He has a great desire to help people develop through his coaching and personal guidance. Based with over 13 years of a very successful corporate career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, he quickly advanced in numerous sales and marketing roles. He has always been a consistent achiever in meeting the organizational challenges through being an effective team player. After graduating from Ngee Polytechnic in 1996, Chee Meng served 6 years in the Ministry of Defense as a Guards Army Officer in which he served 1 year as a Jungle Instructor in Brunei. He was trained in the areas of Operational, Instructional, and Manpower Management. He was awarded the several awards during his stint with the Singapore Armed Forces. Chee Meng also has a Diploma in Human Resources Development from Singapore Institute of Management and is a certified associate of Emergenetics, a brain based profiling tool that analyses people from a thinking and behavioural perspective. In addition, he is certified in various courses ranging from sports climbing to scuba diving.
