LEADING THE WAY FOR

WHOLE SCHOOL WELLBEING
At the heart of every successful school sits a body of pupils whose wellbeing is reinforced and enhanced at every opportunity - and your team, here at ESIS, would be delighted to support the process. Wellbeing is a key element of the School Effectiveness Framework (SEF) and has recently been given further emphasis through the new Common Inspection Framework (CIF) introduced by Estyn in 2010. In todays current climate ESIS fully appreciates that it can be challenging to keep up to date with the latest educational developments, and as a direct result we have constructed a pioneering toolkit that will effortlessly guide you through to whole school wellbeing. The Wellbeing Toolkit is an innovative resource containing a self evaluation framework, resources and links to key documents. The toolkit will not only support and improve your wellbeing activities but will provide structured ideas for new initiatives and practices. To support the toolkit our team of wellbeing advisers has devised a fun and creative conference that will inspire and stimulate participants. The programme will open with a pre-conference gala evening on Thursday 13th October 2011, including a keynote speaker, pupil performances and a sumptuous 3 course dinner that has been especially created for the occasion by our Head Chef. The following day, delegates will be invited to take part in a series of interactive workshops where best practice studies will absorb and motivate attendees. Delegates will be given the opportunity to raise questions, network with colleagues and formulate the way forward.
