Switchgear status indicator: Fitted directly to the drive shaft, these five are definite indication of the contacts position.

Safe to Operate

Gas tightness l The three rotating contacts are placed in an enclosure filled with gas to a relative pressure of 0.4 bar (400hPa) for LBS 24kV and 1.5 bar (1500 hPa) for LBS 36kV. l It satisfies sealed pressure system requirements and seal tightness is always factory checked.

Operating lever: This is designed with an anti-reflex device that stop any attempt to re-open the device immediately after closing the switch or earthing the switch.

It is filled with SF6 in accordance with the definitions in IEC recommendation 62271-103 for sealed pressure systems. Sealing is systematically checked in the factory.
