Industry participants V.S.B. Engineering College, founded by V.S.B. Educational Trust in the year 2002, is located on NH-67, 13 km from Karur on Coimbatore to Karur road, spread across 50 acres of lush green campus. Our College is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution. It offers seven UG Programmes in Engineering such as Aeronautical Engg., Civil Engg., CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and Mechanical Engg., and four P.G Programmes, viz. M.E. Applied Electronics, M.E. CSE, MBA & MCA. The College has got accreditation by NBA for B.E.CSE, B.E.ECE, B.E.EEE and B.E.Mechanical Engg., courses. Besides, the Institution is blessed with an exquisite infrastructure exhibited through the well equipped and sophisticated laboratories. The College has a full-fledge Training and Placement Cell, which maintains good placement record. There are around 160 faculty members who are well qualified and dedicated in imparting quality education to over 2000 students. All the Departments have well-planned classrooms, modern laboratory facilities, aiming to attain a high standard of educational excellence. Our faculty members are actively participating in conference, seminars, FDPs and Workshops. Our students have received acclaim in various competitions conducted by leading Institutions and Universities across India. Overall, the College provides a gratifying environment for the youth to get transformed into successful professionals. The graduating batch of 2011 has achieved an overall pass of 92.5% and 327 students were placed successfully in prominent corporates such as TCS, HCL, Safran Aerospace, SYNTEL, IBS Software, Universal Radiators, GTN Engineering, etc. Our College with an overall pass of 77.73% in Nov-Dec 2010 / Jan 2011 Examinations stood at 10th Position amongst 125 Colleges, as per the academic performance ranking published by the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore. National Conference on Green Engineering & Technologies (NCGET-2011) aims to bring together the scientists, researchers from the academia and practitioners from the industry in order to address on the advanced techniques in green engineering and technologies. It paves way for researchers to present the latest knowledge in the area, and identify new research problems and directions to enhance the utility of greener solutions. It seeks contributions in presenting novel research in all aspects of new scientific methods to create greater awareness on green technologies. It will involve parallel sessions and features keynote address and plenary sessions.

Academicians Scientists Students

(Maximum of 3 Authors per paper) Papers should be submitted in IEEE format. Accepted papers will be published as Book of Papers with ISBN. The Faculty members and students can jointly present the papers. Students can submit the Posters (A2 size) for exhibition and presentation. Prizes will be offered for best posters.
