Lists can mysteriously mess up if edited and I want you to be able to edit
these lists! If suddenly the lists are messed up - meaning that everything no
longer appears in the drop-down lists on the printable chore sheets, then
do the following to reset the list areas.
To prep you, the lists are based on a range of cells having a name.
You can see the names if you click on the arrow that is
next to the cell reference box in the upper left hand corner of the screen
For instance if you click on Categories, it will highlight the range of cells
that are currently set for Categories. If the highlighted range of cells
do not match where the list of rooms are, then do this [prep over]
Go to: INSERT > Name > Define
Click on the range name CATEGORIES
Click on the cell range thingy [see image] and then select the cells that are
supposed to be in the CATEGORIES range [to the black cell]
Press enter.
Do that for the rest of the lists on this sheet that are out of whack.
Edit the lists to suit your home. You may replace or add to the items
that I have included. For instance, a mud room-- not everyone has one,
I don't have one. I think it'd be nice to have one. A place for boots, shoes,
sloppy garden stuff and so forth. Anyway, before you edit the lists, go
to the printable sheets first. Go to List-Chore, it massively uses the lists.
Cal-Chore uses these lists too, but only in a small way. Anyway, go there
see how this thing works before you make changes.

Do the chores repeat?

If so, then make a list of
1-week's worth of the
repeating chores. Select
the list -the entire 7
days- and drag it down
by the corner square. It
should repeat the list.
See the color stripes?

Those are weekends.
FIRST- Change the date
in cell A5, and then
leave it alone.
Know that if you change

the date after adding
chores, then the chores
will be on the wrong
date.
