Technology
"MiniSKIIP" is a new IGBT module technology (3ed generation) developed by SEMIKRON and is used for ATV58 size 1,2 and 3.

Contact with the card is done by placing pressure (spring blades) on the printed circuit as opposed to dip-soldering. The card is pressed between the module and a part which maintains the pressure.
Advantages of this solution

A reliable, compact and economical solution due to optimized current distribution and use of materials with a high thermal cycle capacity. Mounting costs are lower as 20 to 40 soldering points are eliminated. Mounting on the printed circuit uses only one or two standard screws. The component can be fully dismantled and recycled. From a manufacturing point of view, it has the necessary flexibility.
