Underground Corrosion Resistant System

Product Description DuraSystems UCR is an engineered underground corrosion resistant, prefabricated duct system. The result is the UCR system having been designed to provide superior structural strength and integrity. The UCR system uses a bolt together flange assembly that does not require any additional reinforcing or supports, which are commonly required when designing underground systems. Product Benefits Reduce project costs and installation time with UCR by eliminating the need for encasing the system in concrete, less excavation, and less backfill. It is pre-fabricated in sectional lengths up to 8(2400mm) making it fast and easy to install. DuraSystems offers a comprehensive selection of fittings, configurations, and customized designs. UCR uses a low VOC, high build, high solids, surface tolerant, impact resistant coating suitable for corrosive or underground environments. Product Features

No Additional Bracing
No external reinforcements, additional bracing or added protection to the ductwork are required. Structural integrity of the UCR ductwork is built into the design.

Corrosion Resistant
Provides excellent anti-corrosive protection in a variety of harsh environments. Corrosion resistance tested for adhesion, salt, as well as cathodic disbondment.

Water Resistant Assembly

UCRs coating has gone through extensive immersion and constant condensation testing. The robust connection system used for UCR provides a leak-free joint.

Tested Pressure Ratings

Tested to the ANSI, ASHRAE, and SMACNA 126-2000 standards. Higher pressure ratings can accommodate higher velocities and smaller duct sizes thereby reducing the amount of space required.
