SIDE from its well-established roles in research and education, NUS also actively nurtures a spirit of enterprise. To provide an environment that is conducive for entrepreneurship, NUS Enterprise was launched. The NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) programme that you have read about was one of its rst initiatives. Closer to home, other NUS Enterprise initiatives allow students to experience entrepreneurship rst hand. The NUS Entrepreneurship Centre (NEC), a division of NUS Enterprise, promotes and inspires the entrepreneurial minds among the NUS community through supporting student groups and activities, such as the annual Start-Up@Singapore Business Plan Competition organised by the NUS Entrepreneurship Society, the Asian Youth Energy Summit organised by the Energy Carta, and the E27 group which organises local and regional ICT/IDM-related events with companies like Google and Facebook. Through its incubator ecosystem, NEC provides both the hard and soft infrastructure to nurture start-ups into viable companies, including provision of physical space, mentoring, match-making with venture capitalists/angel investors, start-up funding schemes and IP advisory services. NEC also initiates programmes such as the innovative Local Enterprise Achiever Development (iLEAD) programme. iLEAD is an internship programme which integrates experiential learning of entrepreneurship and includes a 2-week overseas study mission, exposing students to the international business environment and challenges of setting up a business globally. Indeed, there is a thriving entrepreneurial dimension in the NUS community and culture. By igniting the entrepreneurial spirit, partnering for success and nurturing future entrepreneurial leaders, NUS Enterprise aims to make a positive impact on Singapores economy and beyond. Find out more at www.nus.edu.sg/enterprise!

As a student I was part of the ExxonMobil Campus Concerts Crew where I was introduced to organising and running events at NUS CFA. It was a great opportunity to meet renowned artists and work with some of the nest directors, choreographers and technical crew from all over the world. What began as an extracurricular activity became a career path that I truly enjoy walking on, all thanks to NUS CFA. ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
TUITION FEES AND MOE TUITION GRANT
A students education at the University is highly subsidised by the Government of Singapore. This substantial subsidy comes in the form of a tuition grant administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) which is offered to all full-time students. The tuition grant is the difference between the full fees (i.e. cost of training at the University) and the tuition fees payable by the student. Students who accept the tuition grants need only pay subsidised fees (also referred to as the Direct Payment portion of fees). While the tuition grant is not repayable, Singapore Permanent Residents and international students will be bonded under the terms of the tuition grant to work for a Singapore-registered company for three years upon completion of their courses, so as to discharge some of their obligations to the Singapore Government for the high subsidy of their University education. Visit www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/edu/UG/fees.html for the latest information on tuition fees. Visit http://sam11.moe.gov.sg/tass/menu/faq.pdf for the terms and conditions of the tuition grant scheme for nonSingaporeans.
