Court Visit Report

I am xyz (4A, Roll no:09) visited at Panvel Taluka court on 8th March, 2011.

In the afternoon I met Advocate Mr. R.K.Patil. (Registration number: MA 9296) He is one of the popular lawyer who is practicing since 1996. He has done with his L.L.M from Mumbai University. Advocate, R.K.Patil states that there is two Criminal Court and three Civil Court in Panvel Taluka Court. It has two senior and three juniors section. Civil case fees will be between 50006000 Rupees. He showed me documents to be filled while filling of case that document or form is called as HINDU-MARRIAGE APPLICATION, REGULAR CASE SHEET, INQUIRY APPLICATION APPEAL MEMO, WAQUALAT NAMA, and related documents as per requirement of case. If case matter is up to one lakh rupees then entertains such cases.

As per case matter we file cases in different courts at one particular time. Some of the courts such as High Court, City civil Court, DRT Court, Small cause Court, Labor Court, Criminal Court, Metropolitan magistrate Court. He also states that Indian Judiciary has played a major role for nation building and also contributed in mobilizing the society to deliver its best to the Nation. In the past few years Litigation has risen in large number and it has become exceedingly difficult to manage it manually. I have met SUPERIDENT MR.VIRESHWAR JOSHI has been working from 1989.His work is Sent case to a proper court, doing Affidavit, checking documents properly. He told me that

presently 25 staff members, 3 Government Lawyers, 99 Private Lawyers is working in Panvel Taluka Court.

I met TYPIST Nilam Thakur has been 6 years experience. She told me, daily minimum 25 files have been filed in Panvel Taluka Court. and Court time is 10.30 to 6.00 clock. I couldnt met judge Mr. J. k. Joshi but Advocate R.K.Patil has told me Mr J.K.Joshi has been working as a Judge in Panvel court since 2007. Justice Shri J.K.Joshi hails from Satara District, Maharashtra. During the last 20 years he has appeared in many important cases. He had the honour to be a member of the delegation representing lawyers in India, in the Commonwealth Lawyers Conference held between 14th-17th September, 1999, at Kaula Lampur.

I heard one case at Criminal court the fact of case was as followsIn that case, Chinare Vs Chinare, one brother filed a case against another. The case goes like this- One brother had purchased a fishing boat but in context of this the other brother is saying that he is the owner of that fishing boat and the same is being purchased by him only. So, he filed a case against him for illegally owing the fishing boat.
