Quia: The Quia workbook assignments follow a code corresponding to activities found in the printed version of the activities manual. For example, the assignment W1-F is interpreted as follows: W designates the workbook portion of the manual, 1 means that the particular activity is from chapter 1, and F is the letter of the activity. An activity beginning with L denotes listening activities. Be sure to select the correct chapter when doing Quia activities. Quia activities will be checked by your instructor online and should be completed by class time the day listed below. If no class is scheduled for that day, the quia activities will be due by 5 p.m. that day. In-Class: These activities will be done in class on the day listed. Read/Study at Home: Spend some time out of class, reading the grammar explanations and the cultural notes in preparation for the class period listed. Hand-in: All activities (Akt) listed should be written out and handed in on the day listed. "Fill-in" activities should be completely re-written. Writing activities (SE) should be double-spaced. All homework should be your own work. On-line recordings: The audio recordings of the texts in the book can be accessed on the course opening page on Angel under communication links and at the cengage.com link below. The video recordings are available on Angel under Lessons.
