It is not their fault and many eventually see the light around 35-40 years of age however by then a generation of unintentional voting has already caused irreversible socialist damage. Our youth are being brainwashed into hating capitalism from as early as 2 years of age through Disney movies and the brainwashing gets progressively worse as they move through elementary, high school and college. Then, compound the deliberate, deceitful, despicable brainwashing from mainstream media including most major newspapers and TV networks, specifically ABC, NBC, CBS. By the time our children are young adults, they truly believe capitalist America is responsible for everything wrong in the world and the system most be destroyed! Couple that with the influx of millions of uneducated third world legal and or illegal immigrants, which the liberal left secretly encourage and rejoice over, and we are left with our current situation.

I saw the light in Vietnam when I saw that the government had no idea of helping us win the battle. They sold us out so bad, that after 4 years in combat, I retired from the military, only to find out that I was not allowed to join the VFW. When I applied, I was told that they did not want viet nam vets because "WE DID NOT WIN OUR WAR ." OUR GOVERNMENT CONVINCED THE VFW THAT WE LOST THE WAR BECAUSE WE DID NOT DO THE JOB WE WERE SENT TO DO. Now I tell everyone I know, that they should never trust the government. I remember 88 St, the block I grew up on, a tremendous childhood mentored by fifty or more Mons and Dads that wouldnt hesitate to give you a kick in the ass when you got out of line. All of us, German, Italian, Irish, Polish, Christians and Jews, we were all Americans; I remember. I remember delivering the Long Island Press newspaper after school. I remember going to church, as a family, on Sunday morning knowing mom would make bacon and eggs when we got home. I remember my father helping the older neighbors with handyman chores they were no longer capable of doing. I remember John Wayne and Bonanza; the good guy always won. I remember thinking I live in the best neighborhood in the world and my neighborhood is in the best country on the face of the earth. That is who I am. I am still that little boy; who wants to believe everything is OK because of Mom and Dad, the neighbors and teachers, the police officers and firemen, and the US army that won every battle on TV. Tammy, we both know the country that little boy grew up in has long since passed into history and will never be again. I struggle with that reality, knowing in just a few more decades, I and everyone who remember those neighborhoods will no longer exist. 2) The issue for me isn't about making guns illegal, it is about the counterproductive rhetoric from both parties that DO incite unhinged people to carry out an act like this. All the majority of the people in this country care about are the 3 G's. Guns, Gays and God. It is a planned approach over the course of the last 30 years to divert the attention from what is really going on. Soon there will be 2 classes, rich and poor.
