Set Induction ( 5 mins)

Introducing insects to pupils by using power point presentation.

1.Teacher draws pupils attention by bringing the stick that had been glued with the picture of insect. 2. Teacher plays insects power point. 3. Teacher asks pupils about the name of the insects in the power point and where they can found them. 4.Teacher introduces the topic.

Pre Reading (8 mins)

Identifying the insects at the park. Questions: 1. Anybody ever been to garden? 2. What can you see in the garden?

1.Teacher asks student whether they have been to any park and what they can see in the park. 2. Teacher shows some pictures to pupils and asks pupils to repeat after teacher. 3.Teacher appoints group and individual to repeat the name of the insects. 4.Teacher gives Worksheet 1 to pupils.

To improve pupils knowledge about the names of insects.

Reading simple sentences. While Reading (25 mins)

1.Teacher ask the students to read simple sentences about the grasshopper on the board and answers some simple questions orally. 2. Teacher shows powerpoint presentation about the next activity.

Production The making of insect sticks.

1.Teacher distributes drawing paper to pupil and asks them to draw the insect that they like most on the drawing paper and colour it. 2. Pupils paste their work on a stick.(such as stick puppet)

Sing incy wincy spider song with movements.

1.Teacher asks pupils to sing again the song and with the movements. 2. Teacher thanked pupils for their cooperation. 3.Teacher praises pupils for their commitment and advice them not to forget about the lesson.
