Carry a Spear with Love PM The Word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword that

can cut asunder the spirit (the intellect) of a man from his soul. A man or woman of God carries that sword or spear, knowing he can draw blood (spiritually) with it, yet must carry this weapon with love. Because, as surely as it separates some from what they thought was "religion", redeeming them from the traditions of man, when applied as is meant, it is the only true balm of healing. From Ephesians 6 we know that our war is not one with flesh but with principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. But, we are also told what we must have to fight and protect ourselves, the gospel armor. The spear, which is the Word of God is our weapon against the enemy... Satan. The only chance we have to even stand against him is to be fully clothed, prepared, and protected with the full coat of arms that Christ has provided. All parts of the armor are necessary and held together with what God likens to a girdle. Throughout the Bible, and through history, the word girdle has had many meanings: a belt, adornment for a bride, a barbarians knife pouch, and a protective leather in war to name a few. It can even mean a governor, as on a car engine that bridles the power, for example. In the gospel armor it is where you carry your spear, the Word of God. God made a girdle of Israel for Himself and placed it around Him. Why? Because of the love He has for them. They are the tool He uses to reach others with His Word. As Ezekiel, and John in Revelation noted, the Word that is bittersweet. Like honey in the mouth and bitter in the stomach, yet it is the same. Pleasing, yet offensive, Why? More often than not because of ignorance! When using the spear of your armor you must learn, through wisdom gained from God, how and when to apply the sharp edge, or the balm. What an awesome responsibility, yet what joy to carry the spear of the Lord with love. You must always use your spear in a positive way. The power He has given you is undefineable. If you believe and have faith you can conquer Satan himself. Through Christ, Who is the Word, your pattern is drawn out as to how you must teach and use your spear. Did I say your pattern was placed out through man's traditions, in seminaries, and books of man? God forbid! The only book you had better take your direction from is THE Book, the Word of God. Let's begin in Ezekiel where he is taken to a future time directly before Christ's final return to this earth. Ezekiel 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, "Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand." This is an analogy of how the majority would be deceived. The destroyer is even Satan himself, but you see God allows and even protects His children by dulling their sense. So, many are blinded and deafened to the Truth by the very Word that should free them and heal them from their ignorance to It. And it has been so for thousands of years, because the ignorant teach the ignorant. Ezekiel 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side <hebrew.html#side>: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar. This north gate is where Satan's desire lies (Isa. 14). The gate of power, where God sits. "By his side" has a much deeper meaning

because the inkhorn didn't just float there. The Hebrew is very specific. The man was clothed in white linen and in a girdle, by his side, he carried this writer's inkhorn. In Ephesians, we are told to be gird with the truth. The "man's" inkhorn was gird in truth. Ezekiel 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon He was, to the threshold of the house. And He called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side: <hebrew.html#side> Ezekiel 9:4 And the Lord said unto him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof." Does this "mark" sound familiar? It is the seal of God, His truth. This "man" through this "ink" was to release more truth to those who had eyes to see. Why on the forehead? This is where a man's brain, his intellect, is found. Ezekiel 9:5 And to the others He said in mine hearing, "Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Ezekiel 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. Ezekiel 9:7 And He said unto them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth." And they went forth, and slew the city. God told them to start in His houses that called themselves by His name. The churches. They are to slay with deception, Satan's untruths, because those are busy praying to the "instead of Christ," not Jesus. This is the deception of "death." Death is one of Satan's many names and this destruction is because of him. They will die instantly a spiritual death, because they have no truth from the inkhorn to protect them. Remember Christ's own words, to those who have, much will be given, to those who have not, or did nothing with what they had, it will be taken away. Ezekiel 9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, "Ah Lord God! Wilt Thou destroy all the residue of Israel in Thy pouring out of Thy fury upon Jerusalem?" If you wish a deeper study, don't let the reference to "residue" pass you by. Ezekiel 9:9 Then said He unto me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, 'The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.'" Do you think the Lord has forsaken you and this earth? Hardly! Ezekiel 9:10 And as for Me also, Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head." Ezekiel 9:11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, "I have done as Thou hast commanded me." He has redeemed those in their forehead. They made a choice. He put wisdom in the minds of those who sought Him. He gave eyes to see His hand moving in this day and age and ears to those who would listen. But, most settled for the traditions of man, the deception, instead of seeking after their Father. Is this unfair? Our Father loves all His children, even to the point His concern is probably far greater for the lost child, the ignorant one, than His servants. I didn't say His love, He is completely fair. On the first day of the

millennium when every knee shall bow to our Lord Jesus Christ, and every one takes on that incorruptible, spiritual body they will bow with either a mortal, or immortal soul. That choice was made in this earth age. If their soul is not yet immortal, it is because they did not serve their Father, and with knowledge of this and how poorly they did when left to their own they can decide between Him and their conveniences for eternity. How well they were prepared will be evident. Jeremiah 13:11 "For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto Me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the Lord; that they might be unto Me for a People, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear." How precious are those who truly want to hear the Word of God. Out of the millions who receive teaching, even from a satellite 2,300 miles away, a small seed here and there, perceive and seek with the desire to learn of our Father, If you strive daily to please Him, and show yourself approved your Father, in turn will bless you so richly with that "ink" that is wisdom and you will learn how to carry and use your spear with love. Every day is a beautiful day, because, "Jesus IS the Living Word"
