A3 Tablet Book: The future of tablet computing

British designer Phil Pauley has come up with a concept tablet design, citing the next step in personal computing. Users can fold it like an A4 book, or use it on a desk like a laptop, or if they prefer, they can totally flat this device like a piece of paper.

It includes 6 cameras for normal and Stereoscopic 3D recording/playback, incorporating two clusters of three cameras. The A3 Tablet Book can be ideal for playing games, listening to music, watching TV or movies or just staying connected through interactive media, which makes it an ideal tablet. ZERO INVESTMENT BUSINESS

I.T is the way
present there are only few companies who have registered themselves on Internet and there is huge potential in future for web industry. Its just not websites alone that caught my attention but its complementary services like S.E.O (Search Engine Optimization), which is carried out to optimize any website on search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. I started this business with no investment, required only a computer and some visiting cards. Thus it makes sense for any young student to be an entrepreneur at young age. Where I see a huge market building up for websites in future because of personalization, Complementation etc. it could be very good opportunity to start their own Web Designing Firm. Well it is not only about websites but Software development, Programming, Networking etc. are a major application and requirement of the hour.

I.T Sector
You require Capital to start any business This quote no longer exists in this world. There are ample of ways to start business with less investment. Especially in a country like India whose population is more than a billion. Indian companies have prominently been service centric companies and generating a huge volume of revenue through service sector. Here, I am writing this article to make people aware of being entrepreneurs in service sector. When I speak of service sector the first industry that comes to mind is I.T industry.

The Budget Webdeal

Even I fell under the same category and started my own company The Budget Webdeal (www.thebudgetwebdeal.in) an year ago. Today we deal in Website Designing & Development, S.E.O, and Domain Registration. What made me start this venture was a fact that in todays time where all business are looking for innovative and quick way of targeting consumers, websites are the best aid for the same.

Need of the Hour

In coming 10 years most of the business will be done with the help of Internet and based applications. Thus, I strongly believe that this is the correct and most optimum time to invest in I.T sector. Young Entrepreneurs are the need of any country specially India, which is prime market for I.T sector, since most of the work from other countries like U.S.A., U.K, etc is been outsourced to Indian Companies. Dream Big, Achieve Bigger

Future Prospect
With 70% of worlds population now connected to Internet it becomes very easy for company to launch, market or advertise their product/service through websites. At

Will an Apple Without Steve Jobs Crumble?

To the stock market Apple is Steve and Steve is Apple. Or rather, it was. When Jobs resigned, the stock dropped 5 per cent almost immediately, then a further 2 per cent the following day. That might not sound like a lot, but 5 per cent of Apple is $10billion. Thats a lot of iPads. The way I see it, things can go three ways from here. First we could carry on pretty much as normal, with Tim Cook running the day-to-day operations and Steve still is pulling the strings from his new vantage point as Chairman of the Board. Second, it could be that Steve is so vital to operations that without him Apple fall apart and nally Tim Cook could turn out to be the man who takes Apple to its next level of greatness. Nobody knows how sick Steve is. His resignation letter simply said that he couldnt perform his day to day duties, but hes been on a medical leave of absence since January, with Tim running the show. Nothing really changes in my rst scenario, except that the difcult and distracting question of who takes over from him is answered once and for all. Apple is free to get on with making its great products and innovating everybody else out of the water. In my second scenario, Apple starts to go downhill rapidly. It turns out the stock market was somehow right and an Apple without Steve is like a Roman slave revolution without Spartacus. As somebody heavily invested in the world of Apple, this would be my least favourite scenario, but I also think its the least likely. The third possible outcome is that Tim Cook turns out to have even more revolutionary and innovative ideas than Steve Jobs, and well all be ying around in Apple-branded jet packs and having our tea served by iRobots that make Isaac Asimov seem unimaginative. I think were most likely to see a version of scenario one at least for now. Microsoft didnt fall apart when Bill Gates decided that giving away his money was a better use of his time, so theres no reason to assume that Apple without Steve will crumble. True, Steve has been a brilliant CEO, and his involvement with Apples products is the epitome of the phrase hands on, but the team at Apple know what theyre doing. The grand design is there and theres no reason to think it wont work, even without the architect who helped create it. Theres no doubt Apple will be a different company without Steve and his legendary keynotes, pithy catch phrases (Boom!) and frank emails to customers. Well all miss him. His second act at Apple has been one of the most thrilling success stories in the history of business. As Jobs said in his resignation letter, Apples best days could be ahead of it, but I doubt well see his like again and I wouldnt be surprised if hes planning a nal one more thing before he goes for good. t immediately hit the front page of most news websites, pushing events like the overthrowing of Colonel Gadda into second place, and tributes have ooded in from fellow business executives, cancer survivors and technology enthusiasts like Stephen Fry, who remarked that Jobs had more inuence on culture over the last 30 years than pretty much anybody else he could think of. Im not sure Id go that far, but Jobs success at Apple has been unprecedented. He helped launch the Apple II, which started the home PC revolution, then the Apple Mac, which redened the home PC into a model that it still fundamentally uses today. On his return from being unceremoniously booted out of his own company, he gave us a string of hits from which his competitors have never quite recovered the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone and nally the iPad. Whatever you think of his penchant for overpriced designer technology, he has a pretty strong resume up his turtlenecked sleeve. His record isnt unblemished of course, but in August Apple was briey worth more than ExxonMobil, making it the biggest company in the world. Forget about trying to win a private war against Microsoft or Google, Apple beat everyone on the planet. How on Earth did he do it? I think thats a question thats still going to be asked 100 years from now, but for his successor as Apple CEO, Tim Cook, its going to be asked very shortly. Cook has very large trainers to ll, and those ckle stock market investors will be watching what he does next very, very carefully.

Hyderabad guys develop robot for low- cost harvesting

ROBOTS are all set to bring down the cost of harvesting. A solar- powered harvesting robot designed by T. J. David and Kudikala Shravan Kumar of the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) bagged the overall first prize at the Intel India Embedded Challenge 2011 in Bangalore on Friday. The crop-harvesting machine works on 500watt batteries that can be recharged by solar panels or grid power. The cost of using the robot would be as little as ` 10 an acre if grid power is used for charging as compared to a conventional harvester that uses diesel worth ` 800 for the task, claimed the inventors. The robotic harvester will come for about ` 50,000, which is 80 per cent less than the traditional harvester, David said. The machine weighs 125 kg and can be operated both electrically and via a remote. It can be adapted for cutting various crops besides paddy and wheat by changing the cutter bar. The Hyderabad duo were awarded ` 10 lakh, while the winners of the seven individual categories, who were awarded ` 50,000 each, include the Centre for Development of Advance Computing (CDAC), Kolkata, for its portable electronic nose for the tea industry and IIT Kanpur for its embedded eyes for the blind. A total of 31 teams were shortlisted for the finals from 1,600 entries. The eight winning teams will get an opportunity to participate in the Next Big Idea a presentation forum jointly organized by Intel, the department of science and technology and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) in November.
