Running head: CLASS OVERVIEW

Abstract A conclusion, which is considered to be a tough class, but to others may be simple; this course will go into detail about multicultural issue, and diversity. One thing is certain; Dr. Hough makes the class interesting, because some of the students would be assigned, to bring the donuts. This class is one of them, were if you get behind; it would be hard to catch up. Collectively, if you work more than 40 hours a week; you might run into trouble. As the class progresses; the assignment would be tougher. One thing is certain, a student will learn a lot; the only wish the class was longer than 5.5 weeks, because it is imperative to get as much as you can out of this class, because it goes so fast.

Class overview This discussion board assignment is to give you a synapses of the last 5.5 weeks, as this information went through my head. Pondered on it for a while, and concluded, this is a tough class, well it was for me. After each posted a little miniature biography of themselves; we begin to pick a minority group to talk about, and how the others treated them. Nevertheless, we all have picked something entirely different, which made this class interesting. Would like to begin with an outline as to what we studied in each phase.

1). Phase One: We (the student body) studied, a minority group, in regards their age, ethnic background, their gender, if there male or female, and the other one is the culture group. a) We talked about how to recognize the signs for discrimination. b) If it was a Hispanic, women nod other woman. c) In this assignment, we had to combine two different groups, which we measure several different aspects. d) Even went over the equality. e) General attitude toward diversity 2). Phase 2: Legislation Issues of Equality, Diversity, and Discrimination a) Hate crimes, and affirmative action b) Legislation is either: federal, state, or local level of authority c) Are these regulation would be effective d) How do these laws help in everyday life?
