SECTION B

You are advised to spend about 30 minutes on this question.

Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.

Recently, a lot of articles have been written on stress and anger management.
People are becoming more stressful each day due to the pressure they are facing in their
work or family. Thus, we should know how to control our anger so that we will not lead a
stressful life.
When confronted with a potentially aggravating situation, you must remember to
focus on yourself. If possible, take a slow walk or jog. You could count to ten, pray or do
breathing exercise. When we breathe in, it helps to calm the mind. Alternatively, take a
shower. Be aware of your trigger points and write them down. You might have to talk
with friends and family to find out what bothers you. Write down what you think you
should do when you feel angry to calm yourself down. For example, have a cup of tea,
listen to relaxing music, solve a complicated puzzle or play with the pet. Talk to a friend
or family member about your problems. You could write in your diary. But do not re-read
entries. Lastly, you could try to indulge in a hobby. Take up painting, reading, poetry
writing, gardening, wall climbing, pottery or handicraft. Anything that needs concentration
and time would take your mind off the cause or causes of your stress.
