ABSTRACT Sacred art is commonly respected, guarded, and preserved as an important part of Upacara religious activity especially in Cakranegara.

Topeng Siddhakarya performance in a religious ceremony is believed by its community could support the success of yaja conducted. Having seen the existency and position of sacred art especially Topeng Siddhakarya in community life, a research needed to be conducted to know the relation between Topeng Siddhakarya in supporting tne success of Upacara yaja ceremony conducted by Hindus in Cakranegara. Based on description above, research questions was formulated as follows :1) What is the form of Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony in Pura Ayu Mas Meketel Mataram, 2) What is the function of Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony in Pura Ayu Mas Meketel Mataram, 3) What is the meaning contained in Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony in Pura Ayu Mas Meketel Mataram. Theories used in this research are: Symbolic Theory, Aesthetic Theory, and Structural Functionalism. Data collecting is conducted by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analyzed through steps as follows:1) Data Reduction, 2) Data Serving, 3) Verification or conclusion. Result shows that: 1) Form of Topeng Siddhakarya performance contains myth values believed by most Hindus in the region, either tattwa (philosophy), susila (ethics), upacara (ceremony) values. Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony is a form of Bhakti of Hindus toward Ida Sang Hyang Widdhi (God) of all His grace. Children, adult, tukang banten, dancer, penabuh (traditional Balinese musicians), pemangku, priest, are all involved in conducting this ceremony, 2) Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony is as supplementary in religious ceremony an as the most important aspect compared to other kind of topeng in that ceremony. In the end of performance, role called Dalem Siddhakarya leads the ceremony with siddhakarya offering prepared to demand the ceremony to be successful, 3) Meaning of Topeng Siddhakarya performance in Ngenteg Linggih ceremony besides contain aesthetical aspect is functioned as closing dance in every yaja offered by Hindus inhabiting Lombok Island generally, so is to every Hindus because it contained cultural art aspect and the meaning of honesty, sincerity and self surrender to God without expecting for any return (phala). When the natural balance is harmonious with human desires as a performer of yaja, life will be in harmony and the goal of Hindu will be achieved.
