Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year: A student who is 11 years of age or 12 years of

age may not be admitted to any private or public school in this state until that student submits to the school acceptable evidence of vaccination for the human papillomavirus or proof that, after receiving the information required in subsection

Prohibits those students from being admitted into school without evidence of vaccination for human papillomavirus. Provides that a principal may not knowingly admit certain students into school without evidence of vaccination for the human papillomavirus. Provides exceptions. Requires the Department of Education, in consultation with the Department of Health, to prescribe the content of the information regarding the connection between the human papillomavirus and cervical cancer and the availability of a human papillomavirus vaccine. student not receive the vaccine. (3) The Department of Education, in consultation with

the Department of Health, shall prescribe the content of the information required in subsection (1). Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
