It was in 1734 AD that Marthanda Varma conquered Kayamkulam and after 277 years the full moon has touched the same point for the macrocosmos. It is well known in Tantra that the Moon is Mukhambika and She is the Great Revealer to Saktas who have been at Her feet in both birth and death.
