. . . DAY AT GATEWAY! FIRST OF ALL ON SUNDAY MORNING WE WILL VOTE ON CHRIS EVARD becoming our Fall Student Intern.
CHRIS IS FINE YOUNG CHRISTIAN MAN, WHO WE BELIEVE HAS BEEN LED TO LEAD OUR YOUNG PEOPLE! HE IS IN THE MASTERS PROGRAM AT DBU in Global Leadership. Be sure to be here Sunday morning! AND SUNDAY EVENING IS A SPECIAL TIME FOR BAPTISM OF NEW BELIEVERS. We will meet at the Williams house for baptism and a meal following! So come and worship together Sunday at 6 pm and celebrate new Christians observing believers baptism! LAST SUNDAY I WAS IN PAMPA, TX, WHERE I preached a crusade meeting at Cornerstone Baptist Church where MICAH MEURER our former Minister of Men - is the pastor. WE HAD REVIVAL SERVICES THERE EACH DAY, shared luncheon Bible studies, witnessed to folks in the community, and fellowshipped with Micah and his family! We saw many people come to faith in JESUS! I ALSO TAUGHT A STAFF DEVOTIONAL for my friend, Pastor DALLAS STRINGER and the staff of Calvary Baptist in Pampa. We also got to share with another pastor who has gone to the Philippines with me, SHELBY DEATHERAGE. SO IT WAS A GREAT WEEK, BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING TO BE WITH YOU THIS Sunday on a very special day! KEEP PRAYING AS WE MOVE ON IN BUILDING OUR NEW WORSHIP CENTER! Pray for our Builder, Dwight Newsome, the staff and Building team as we proceed! I WILL BEGIN A NEW PREACHING SERIES ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH CALLED THE SEEKERS! The theme running through the series is how we as believers are expected by the LORD JESUS to seek HIM with all our hearts to serve HIM as we should and become all HE has intended for us to become! IT WILL BE AN ENLIGHTENING TIME FOR ME AS I STUDY THIS TOPIC and a challenging time for you as we are all brought to the Word of God for leadership and maturity from the HOLY SPIRIT about how to seek our LORD!
