BaCKGrounD The Forest Honey, Health and Nutrition Symposium is organized by the Forest Honey Network Indonesia (JMHI), together with Dian Niaga Jakarta and in collaboration with Manilabased NTFP Exchange Programme South & Southeast Asia (NTFP-EP). The symposium aims to share up-to-date information on the nutrition and health benefits of Apis dorsata and Trigona spp. honey, pollen and propolis. Furthermore, the sharing will take place in the context of wider issues affecting forest honeys position as a specialty niche product.
