Experience developing, maintaining Integration Agreements, Interface Control Documents, Verification Plans with various carriers including shuttle, space station and expendable vehicles. Development of processes and tools that allow for the population of payload-unique information into standardized databases, which can then merge payload-unique requirements, with hardware capabilities, into an integrated system. Experienced certified operators of the space station payload rack checkout unit that simulates space station interfaces for testing. Ground support personnel training experience including both classroom and hands on simulations, development of training materials, simulation timelines. Our experience has evolved from development of small package payloads flown for days to Facility Class Payloads that are First Article Exploration Technology Payloads to ISS that are to be flown for years. ZIN Technologies has leveraged our accomplished background in the design, development and operations of space flight hardware during the shuttle era to become a compelling small disadvantaged business partner for the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV), the ARES Crew Launch Vehicle (CLV) and other Project Constellation Initiative programs. We were an active participant in the CEV Phase I development effort providing support to significant portions of the Tier I Prime Contractor Proposal Efforts. We are the prime contractor (design, development, and operations) for NASA Glenn Research Center's (GRC) current payloads on-board the International Space Station Destiny module: Physics of Colloids in Space, Space Acceleration Measurement System, and Microgravity Acceleration Measurement System. We have completed development of the flight and ground systems for the ISS Fluids & Combustion Facility manifested to fly within the next 24 months. This includes the simulators, test beds, engineering units, ground integration units and crew training units. Real-time operations are provided remotely from the ZIN developed and operated GRC Telescience Support Center (TSC) with data monitoring and analysis from ZIN Technology personnel. ZIN Technologies develops payload avionics with ruggedized custom data acquisition and control systems, power conditioning and control, network communications for uplink/downlink, on-board data storage, health monitoring, and remote operations with minimal or no required crew interaction. Avionics systems are comprised of custom and commercial-off-the-shelf electronics utilizing standard bus architectures. Required analytical analysis and testing is performed for space flight integration and operations as follows: Loads & Modal Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Radiation Analysis and Testing, Vibration Testing, Thermal and Thermal-Vacuum Testing, Acoustic Testing, Microgravity Emissions Testing ZIN Technologies provides additional expertise to develop specialty data products and services.
