>>introduction to the zine
tiz is meant to take the place of what was the contingency. bracket handed over
all the data, contacts, etc. to us. we are an underground zine with topics such as
carding, hacking, cracking, data mining, news, electronic rights, brute forcing,
doc dropping, anonymity, phreaking, p2p, etc.
we plan to continue some of the old projects later on once we get a website or a
larger reader-base. we are still accepting appliations for members.

we are looking for a free web host so if you would be interested please contact
sheepbyte. we have absolutely no money! currently the members are:

[zraith]
[a3kton]
[billy hoyle]
[sheepbyte]

we hope to get more activity from a3kton and billy hoyle as they finish up finals.
sheepbyte is not in school so, he can do more hacking!

at the moment we can assure you that the newest issues will be available at our
fine mirror:
www.brokenfloppy.com/tiz
*if you would like to have your mirror listed please email sheepbyte@gmail.com. as
long as there are no pop-unders-overs-ups, no forced voting, you have the file,
and you do not modify the file (except putting in a compressed format), you will
be listed as a mirror. mirrors recieve the file early. you will have to provide a
contact email where we can send the file. you do not have to be an official mirror
to host the file. official mirrors are just a way to insure readers can get the
files on time and help webmasters in need of traffic.

letters, cards, requests for mercy, questions, articles, flames, love letters,
requests to join, and hot chicks may be sent to:

webstats, google, and ip harvesting
---------------------
by: sheepbyte
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
this is a quick little tutorial on how to find webalizer statistics from sites
using google and how to harvest ips. google has many features to help somebody
narrow down their search. in this article i will be talking about using the inurl
function to find webalizer stats. typically, webalizer is set up like this:
website.com/stuffcanbehere/stats/webalizer
we could use the google inurl function to obtain webalizer logs. type inurl:
/stats/webalizer into google and you should get a lot of webalizer stat pages.
most administrators don't mean to leave their webalizer logs open and they never
realize it is bieng accessed. the webalizer logs contain ip addresses, operating
systems, screen resolutions, pages visited (if they have a secret page) and much
more. somebody could automate the browsing of these logs to build a list of ips
and create a zombie network based on the corresponding operating systems and ips.

we have raped, downloaded, pillages, hacked, and snatched most of the files so we
will be mirroring them in the event that they go down. (would they notice an extra
10,000 downloads? of course not!)

you can change the file name to get more files.

hacking vending machines |
got coke?>got milk?> |
by: |
sheepbyte |
|
|
====================================|

this is a follow-up to the article published in 2600 about hacking soda machines.
i will go more in-depth to this topic.i am going to first talk about hacking coke
machines. (the glass front vendor). these machines have a keypad on them and a
glass front.
the default code to get into debug mode is 4-2-3-1. cracking this code would not
be too difficult. 10 minutes would crack the code with no problem. now, when you
first type it in it will go to a menu. press the number 3 to go to different
options. the options you may get are:
error
cash
sales
return

to select a menu press 4. to leave a menu press 1. to scroll press 3. if you press
4 on cash it may take a while but it will display a monetary amount. i talked to
some coke employees and it seems as if this number is the amount of money it has
made in a year. i will leave the sales menu up to you, because it isn't fun if i
tell you everything. the sales menu displays how much money and how many of each
item it has sold. hitting 4 on return will take you out of debug mode. when you
get to the error menu press 4 to see an error. if there are multiple errors you
can press 3 to scroll through them. if you wish to find out more about a certain
error you can hit 4 and get a description. for instance, a refrig error might say
no cool and a vendmech error might say coljam. if there is no return menu you can
press the coin reject button or put a dollar in. coke employees are usually more
than happy to talk with you about the machines. they might give you manuals, or
whatever you would like. one guy game me his service manual which is a hard copy
:)!the more advanced functions need a key to open the machine. the keys are all
the same on the machines i have found. you can call up dixie-narco and request a
key because you lost yours (be prepared to spew names). once you have the machine
open you can do programming. some of the neat features are:
[
custom message
happy hour
free drink
price change
error resetting
contest (1 in every x is free)
etc. etc. etc.
]

i will now talk about hacking the milk machines. these machines have a glass front
and usually have milk in them with a got milk logo (many have hersheys
milkshakes). they have keypads similar to the coke machines and some have bill
acceptors. pressing * and letters will yield interesting results. the external
debug mode on this machine won't let you do much. you can view the temperature,
the power usage, and a few other stupid things like that.

you can obtain manuals for these machines at dixie-narco.com. the best way to
learn about these products is to talk to the service men. they usually are more
than willing to talk and help you out in your journeys. if a service man doesn't
want to help you, don't insist or harass him, because he will probably lie to you.
hacking coke machines is purely a journey of learning. i don't believe there is
anything illegal about hacking coke machines. the passwords are publicly available
on the dixie-narco website and coke can change them if they want to. if the
password is changed and you brute force it, it could be illegal.

[guide to zit popping]
[by sheepbyte]
[what the hell does this have to do with hacking? nothing]

i really wish i could do some frickin' ass ascii art for this, but i'm not good at
drawing zits. i remember the years when i was younger, and i wish i had been
better with my face care. people who enjoy pain will probably enjoy zit popping.

popping zits can occur at any point during the life of the zit. if you do not do
it the first day, i reccomend waiting a while for the zit to build up before you
pop it. after mastering the ranks of zit popping, you will get a feel for when a
good time to do it is.
zit popping requires a few tools. you will need 2 fingers, some needle nose
plyers, some tissue, and some finite tools like eyebrow pluckers. many people
think you should scrape off a zit so just the top comes off. scraping is bad.

first, you need to try to use the plyers or pluckers (depending on the location of
the zit and the size). always use pluckers if possible. some zits are un-poppable
because of their location on the face. squeeze the skin around the zit into the
zit so you can still see the zit. squeeze hard until the zit pops. wipe off
whatever may have come out and continue to squeeze.

after you have squeezed the white stuff out you will start squeezing out what
looks like water. keep squeezing! squeeze until you get blood coming out. for best
results squeeze some blood out to clean the inside of the zit a little bit more.
once you are done squeezing, dab the zit with a tissue or cotton ball and you are
done. do not touch the zit. within the day the zit should disappear or become
unnoticeable. zit popping is best to do on weekends if you are not going to see
people. do not pop zits less than 15 minutes before leaving the house, you will
look like an idiot. of course, if you take good care of your face you won't have
to pop zits. i hope you find zits easier to deal with now.

[i know this has been a really stupid article. please send in your articles,
letters, questions, flames, links, ads, personals, classifieds, and stuff so i
don't have to write stupid shit like this!!!!!]

btw: tiz is zit spelled backwards!!! this was not intended, but oh well...

this page should never be loaded by a robot, as it has been excluded in the

if you used some misbehaving robot to get to [link] this page your site and robot
may be blocked from accessing this site in the future. also your site and robot
name will be featured on the offending robots and webcrawlers page.

however, if you just are surfing normally and got the idea to look at this page
from the above page, nothing will happen.

for email robots we have a special email address that they better not use, as the
address clearly indicates when they visited this page and if this address is ever
used it will be easy to track them down. bot.monday, 30-may-2005 04:58:55

to this very page but with different names this allows those robots to request the

~ we here at tiz understand that. we have a responsibility to the hacker community
and to the world to set a good example. we will never lose touch with that like
past famous hacker groups or zines. never
