Project Description
The File Transfer protocol provides access to a file on central server from
one or more ftp client application. Client and server can copy files from each other by
using file transfer mechanism. Ftp utility program is collection of rules on how to
physically transfer files from one system to another, independent of file system differences
or Operating System involved. The ftp client is machine which issues one or more
requests. It is the machine you are initially logged into, the one on which you type the ftp
command. The ftp server attempts to fulfill those requests
