Bangkoks Orchid Show 5th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise (June 2-7, 2011)

The 5th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise 2011 opens today at Siam Paragon Shopping Mall in celebration of His Majesty the Kings 84th Birthday Anniversary this year. The shopping mall, one of the biggest shopping centers in Asia is filled with breath taking displays of stunning orchid creations and prize-winning orchids. This is an event not to be missed, especially if you are an orchid lover. The Thailand International Orchid Innovative Show, Bangkok The Thailand International Orchid Innovative Show is billed as the first major, or full-fledged show, organised in the capital Bangkok offering growers and buyers an opportunity to network and exchange information. Scheduled 24 to 26 July at Hall 8 of the Impact Exhibition Centre, Muang Thong Thani, in the northern suburbs of Bangkok, the show will underscore Thailands role as a leader in orchid cultivation and export. There will be exhibition arranged by the organizer on 1) new orchid varieties, ornamental plants, and related products, 2) orchid production technologies for the next decade, and 3) innovative ways to utilize orchid and orchid products. Orchid Contest and Sale Booths : There will be orchid contest from across the country together with sale of orchid plants, ornamental plants and related products. Products on display - Orchid Flowers, Orchid Plants, Ornamental Plants, New Technologies related to Orchid Production and Market, Orchid and Related Products. The events organizer, Department of Agricultural Extension, expects more than 500 representatives of orchid growing enterprises to attend the show, which will feature both sales and educational components. It also involves the Royal Horticultural Society of Thailand, orchid associations, private sector farms and foreign exhibitors, who will showcase orchid related innovations through the show and seminars. Thailand International Orchid Innovation Show When: Annually. In the second half of July 2011. Where: Impact Arena (Muang Thong Thani) in Bangkok, Thailand Thailand International Orchid Innovation Show is held once a year. Flowers that were grown by growers in Thailand and other countries are present in this exhibition. The emphasis in this colorful show is on techniques, species and new developments in flowers growth. In spite of the fact that the exhibition is a professional meeting between growers, exporters and importers of Orchids from all over the world, the show is open for the public also.

Two Years in the Making, the 25th Flower Show to be presented in 2013 ATLANTAThe Southeastern Flower Show Committee and the Southeastern Horticultural Society met and determined that additional time was needed to ensure a landmark Silver Anniversary Flower Show. The presentation of the twenty-fifth Southeastern Flower Show will be delayed a year in order to prepare for the best possible Anniversary Show. Several members of the British Royal Family attend a preview of the show, as part of the royal patronage of the RHS. The show will be covered on television by the BBC. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is one of the most famous gardening shows in the world, a celebration of the highest quality horticulture and a feast for your imagination. Also known as the Great Spring Show, it is held every year in May, running for five days and receives over 157,000 visitors. The event is run by the Royal Horticultural Society and takes place on the large grounds (11 acres) of

the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, London. Popular features include the show gardens designed by leading names and the centrepiece of the floral marquee. The Chelsea Flower Show 2011 dates are 24 - 28 May and all tickets must be purchased in advance. From 2005 the show was increased from four days to five, with the first two days only open to RHS members. The area of land devoted to show gardens has increased steadily between 1970 and 2000 and the show has become an important place for observing trends. Flower show tickets on sale June 27, 2011 by Wanwisa Ngamsangchaikit Filed under Chiang Mai, News Leave a Comment BANGKOK, 27 June 2011 The fourth edition of Chiang Mais international horticulture expo known as the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek will be held, 9 November 2011 to 15 February 2012. Advanced tickets go on sale, 7 July to 31 October, with a single pass priced at Bt100 for adults and Bt50 for children. Multi entry passes cost Bt400 for adults and Bt200 for children, while a group pass for 15 to 50 people costs Bt70 for adults and Bt30 for children. Visitors can buy advanced tickets at Krungthai Bank and Thai Ticket Master Counter and enjoy an additional 50% discount.

Alternatively, they can buy at the gate for Bt200; multi-entry pass Bt800 and a 15 to 50 person pass Bt150. Ticket prices are the same for both Thais and international visitors.

Entrance is limited to 20,000 visitors a day and tickets must be used on the date printed. A multi-entry pass has the name of the holder and there is only one ticket per group pass. The 4th Royal Flora Ratchaphruek will be held at the Royal Agricultural Research Centre, Mae Hia sub district, Muang district in Chiang Mai. The expo site covers 752,000 sq metres with an outdoor area set aside for at least five countries to exhibit their garden flowers and an additional area for over 30 countries registered at the event.
