2011LandslidelistHighlightsGreatLandscapes&theVisionaryPeopleWhoSupportThem Louisville,KY(September22,2011)TheCulturalLandscapeFoundation(TCLF)todayannounced Landslide2011.Landslide,firstissuedin2003,isTCLFsannualcompendiumofsignificantatriskparks, gardens,horticulturalfeatures,andworkinglandscapes.ThethemeofLandslide2011isThe LandscapeILoveandcallsattentiontoboththethreatenedsitesandthepeopleworkingtosave them.Thisyearsdiversegrouprangesfrom90,000acresofcliffsandgorgestoasmallresidential lotbythemavericklandscapearchitectJamesRose,andincludesFallingwater(MillRun,PA),the CivilWareraWildernessBattlefield(LocustGrove,VA),LaddsAddition(Portland,OR),thefirst plannedcommunityinthestateofOregon,andnineothersites.TheDaveyTreeExpertCompanyis PresentingSponsorandLandTrustAllianceisaPartner.Photographsofeachofthesitesby noteworthyphotographerswillbefeaturedintheDaveyTreeExpertCompanys2012calendarand illustratethesiteprofilesonTCLFsWebsite(www.tclf.org).
