PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SECURITAS SECURITY SERVICES USA, San Francisco, CA 10/1996 to 2010 SAFETY DIRECTOR / ACCOUNT M ANAGER THE STATE BAR OF CALIFORNIA Manage all aspects of security, fire safety, and emergency response for this 13-story high-rise headquarters facility of the State Bar of California. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of all security personnel. Monitor and maintain critical building systems, oversee periodic upgrades of devices and equipment, and continually strengthen and refine procedures and programs to meet clients ever-changing security and safety needs. Manage critical safety programs, including floor warden, first aid team, and earthquake preparedness. Supervise team of 10 security officers and 40 emergency response staff members. Created site-specific emergency evacuation video and plan for more than 600 building occupants, completing the project and training within a tight deadline. Project has been adopted as standard training for all new employees and as a refresher course for existing employees. Devised new plan for administrating growing list of security threats and concerns posed by disgruntled employees, clients, visitors, and association members. This included a watch list database with photographs and security response instructions. Created and implemented PowerPoint presentation for training emergency personnel (floor wardens) on procedures for properly handling natural disasters and medical emergencies. Designed, implemented, and administered site-specific integrated security protection system, including development of alarm mitigation measures, response procedures, and CCTV management protocols.
